Hi there,

Has anyone had to replace your EAD card? If so, what was your experience?

Under so much stress and pressure my husband misplaced aka LOSS his EAD card.
Long story short USCIS sent us a denial letter for both the 130 & 485 "failure to appear"
When we actually had to reschedule, we hired a lawyer and we had to move...Between school, USCIS and the move he lost his card. It's over $500 to replace so we are literally waiting for the GC.

Does anyone have any suggestions? We have an infoPass appointment on Monday 7/17 and today is our 118 day since our interview.

can anyone tell me if expedite request will work to process the EAD.

My EAD is pending for 90 days now and it is due to expire by the end of July.

I am thinking of raising an expedite request based on the grounds for losing my job

Is there any expedite request allowed for processing EAD's?

Any advice would help!!

My husband and i are transferring to our new apartment on August 1st. I'm in 105 days waiting for my i485, i765, i131. Should i inform USCIS my change of address online or by mail or both? When? Does forwarding mail by USPS help?

We are moving to a new apt but in the same city. I'm worried that the mail will be lost.

Hi everyone, can anyone advise me on what to do. I had my bio on 24th April 2017,but my case was received march 20th 2017, is beyond 90days. I raised a special request and is been 3weeks (day 120) this week no reply or update.i live in maryland. Any advise would be a big help as am in a very tight financial situation.

I've been a silent observer on this platform for a while. Thankfully my combo card was received today and I thought I should share my timeline to encourage someone out there. Personally I don't believe in the processing times, I was just prayerful, some days I ran out of patience however patience still remains key! I flied forms i485, 130, 131, 785 concurrently from Chicago, no RFEs or so ever was demanded for.
PD - 3/20/17
Biometrics done - 4/20
Ready to be scheduled for interview - 5/8 (49 days after)
Raised first case inquiry by myself over the phone - 6/5 (77 days after) received a feedback 3 days after that my case was still within their processing time
Raised second case inquiry online by attorney - 6/19 (91 days after) received a feedback 2 days after that my case is currently under review and should receive a decision shortly
6/29 (101 days after) EAD/ travel parole was approved
7/6 (108 days after) Combo card was mailed out
7/8 (110 days after) Combo card received

I filed my I-485 - I-765 I-131 concurrently. C09. Here is my timeline.
During my process, I didn't do any service request, info pass, contact congressman etc.

Feb 17 - Mailed forms 485,765,131 to WAC California Service Center
Feb 24 - Received in mail receipt notice from USCIS
Mar 14 - Received notice in the mail that my case was transferred to National Benefits Center to speed up processing.
Mar 29 - RFIE on my i-485 concurrent filing
Apr 6 - USCIS Received my RFIE answer
Jun 2 - Received notice in the mail that my case was Transferred to Nebraska Service Center to speed up processing
Jun 30 - New Card in Production
Jul 3 - Case approved for i-765 and i-131
Jul 6 - New card was mailed to me.

I had a 134 days wait from my initial filing until my card was mailed to me. It was a 93 days wait from my request of Initial evidence. I would seem your case wait resets to zero when there is a RFIE. Im still waiting for my card in the mail. I think it should be here sometime next week.

So I filed for my EAD and GC around the 04/08/2017.

My PD is 04/13/2017
Biometrics on 05/09/2017
GC updated to 'case ready to be scheduled for an interview' on 06/21/2017
SR created on 75th day which was 06/27/2017

They stated that I should expect a reply for my SR on or before 07/19/2017. I haven't received a reply thus far and I understand that I should wait until 07/19/2017 before enquiring about my SR. However on Monday(07/10/2017) will be my 90th day and I don't think that they will have made a decision by then.

So is there anything I can do to speed up the process?

Maybe call them and enquire to why it's taking so long?

Hi my people,

I called USCIS again today, of course it was pretty useless, but want to share what I've heard.

My priority date was 3/10/17 filed through Chicago, it went to MSC Missouri (National benefit center)

I raised 3 service requests before, but only got "your case is under review" so this time I wanted to know a little in depth.

I talked to the person for asking expedite, but the first person said she can't do that, so they made me in line for "call back system."

After 40 minutes waiting, one Indian accent immigration representative from USCIS called me back and I asked him my EAD is like super slow. He asked several information and said to me, my case was went to background check at 6/5/2017.

I also asked if I can do expedite, and he said the background check is conducted by the other places, so he can't do expedite for it. Just call them back 2 weeks later and asking expedite at that time.

It is already 119 days waiting for me. I need to wait more geez. I booked Infopass 7/17, so let's see how it goes.

Does anyone have any idea how long the background check takes?

I applied for my EAD renewal and my PD is Apr11,2017

On the 75th day mark i raised an SR and received the following reply

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently in line for processing and adjudication. Cases are processed in the order in which they were received.

What does the above reply mean? Does this reply cause any additional delay in the processing time. Iam reaching my 90 day mark. Can i raise another SR on the 90th day mark to again inquire on the status of my case. Any advice on this would be highly appreciated
