EAD approved
PD dec 19. MSC code . Applied after marrying us citizen .
After waiting for almost 5 months I decided to expedite my ead .
May 9 requested to expedite
May 10 . Received emAil asking Evidence to expedite the case
May 10 . Faxed job offer letter and a cover letter.
Contacted local congresswomen to help us on the expedite
Mailed same proof to congresswomen office
May 12 . Case assigned to an officer to response
May 17. 2.15 pm card new card is being produced
So happy . No news on other cases yet . god bless America

J2 work authorization rejected for payment fee
Hi everyone, after waiting for over 30 days of no news in my EAD I started to suspect something was wrong, and I was correct. I got all my papers back with a reject notice saying "the payment amount is incorrect or has not been provided"
I have a J2 Visa and I applied for the form I-765, I had included 410 + the biometrics fee (85) in the check but now I've read I do not have to pay for the biometrics fee...is this correct? I cannot waste another month. Thank you so much!

Now, I am still waiting for the card. Today it's my 77th day of waiting. And still waiting for the actual Card.
Guys, if you passed more than 30 days. Asked USCIS for service request. Also, take a note that you can only use 1 Service request in 30 days. So use it smartly. Basically you have 2 service requests. 1 for Wife 1 for husband or 1 husband & 1 husband etc.
Be patient. cheer up! and enjoy being a bum! lol

I-765 based on AOS not marriage (I-360 special immigrant)
I have been reading through the posts & even commented on some of them. I also been a silent reader for months before I signed up in April. We're not alone in this process. Here we go...
3/6/17 case recieved &fees waived.
3/28 updated that fees were waived on 3/6.
4/7 notice for Bio 4/27- done 4/21 due to a ? I had to the closer ASC I was the only one there I got there at 3:20pm my notice was stamped at 3:23pm
5/16 I called to see where my status at she was very nice she told me I was in the processing time & I'm at 71days to call back on friday if they don't update me by the end of week. I'll give until Monday.
I did called the FBI # before I called USCIS no one picked up & no vm either it says they're not giving out info for immigration & must call USCIS. Maybe it's something new. Saturdays open for call center it's not true they're close but there was news that they will open on Saturdays but they're not at this moment.

EAD card for Jan filer
Hi everyone,
I don't understand why it's taking so long for my EAD. I never received a REF. My PD is Jan13th and did my Bio on Feb 14th. But I haven't seen any update on my case since. I did a SR on April 21st. Still no update. Just want to know if anyone has similar situation as mine?

EAD application 1st time
Hi everyone,
I mailed my packet to USCIS on April 13. They received it on April 14 and send to potomic service center. I got my receipt number but did not get yet notice of receipt by mail. No further update yet. I am planning to call the service center after May 14. what else I can do?
