Default Entry visa b1/b2 form I-485, I-765, I-130
Hello, I am married with a citizen in NY, I filled the forms I-485, I-765, I-130 and sent to Chicago
Received date Nov 18 2016, but I filled wrong the I-765 and the uscis returned the form.... the I-765 case was received in Dec 12,
Biometrics appointment for Jan 6 for I-485 and for I-765 Jan 10 but I did both in Jan 6....
In Jan 13 I-485 change to ready to be scheduled for an interview, but has passed a long time and I-765 hasn't changed and I'm waiting for the EAD card..... it is very frustrating, do you have any suggestions? Thank you

L-2 EAD renewal process time
Hi I want to share my experience on my L2-EAD renewal process time -
(in the renewal process you don't have to go for finger print. )

Dec 11 , 2016 - filed the I-765
Dec 12 , 2016 - Received the I-765
Jan 11, 2017 - Received the notification of case number in the mail
March 3, 2017 - Status updated to "Ordered your new card"

Still waiting to get the card in the mail. I am expecting it by March 8 at max.

In my experience it is good to apply at least 100 days before the EAD expiration date.

Who can actually make USCIS process the case right away ?!
Hello

I have a pending EAD application with USCIS

so the case has been pending for a while .. i created a service request thinking that it would "expedite" the case .. turned out its just an inquiry about the status of the case and they emailed me a computer generated email that the case needed additional processing and its with an officer (which is something i already know given that they received the case a while back)

so then i started to seek my other options which was to contact the service center through their email and received the same BS about the case being processed and that i should wait so then i called USCIS customer service and asked for another service request and the lady on the phone said that the system won't allow her to do it and she doenst know why (probably because i already requested one a couple of days back) so she asked me to call next Monday and try again but we all know how that will go .. then i called the office of my congressman and the lady on the phone said that i need to sign a release form giving them permission to contact USCIS about the case and that this will allow them to inquire about the case (Again just a basic inquiry which will probably result in USCIS telling them that its being processed and to wait a little more) which is just another waste of time and effort and many people on the internet said that after contacting their congressman or senator the office of the senator just told them the status of the case and that it needs more time instead of actually making USCIS process it right away

so other than the fact that you have a financial crises or a HUGE PROBLEM that will require mailing additional paperwork and evidence to actually get your case processed right away,
is there any freakin something that can make USCIS ACTUALLY process the case and not just tell me the status of my case (which i already know is BEING PROCESSED)

thanks

I-765 New card is being produced..
Hey guys,

I am applying my green card and work authorization card through employment.
My OPT card expires in 10 days (3/13/17) and I have been dying waiting on my EAD card...
Do you guys know how long it usually takes to receive the card since the tracker says "We ordered your new card for Receipt Number LINxxxxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us?"

My timeline has been:
12/19/16 USCIS (Nebraska Service Center) received my I-485, I-765, and I-131
2/23/17 biometrics done
3/1/17 I-765 status change from received application to new card is being produced.

I have been searching on Immihelp and the time seems to vary...
Has anyone who applied to Nebraska Service Center around similar time already gotten the EAD card?
If so, how long did it take to get the actual card? (Like, how long did it take to change the status from new card is being produced to the card is mailed?)
I only have 10 more days to get my EAD card and if I don't get it I am going to lose a job..
Am I allowed to work without my EAD card present?

Thanks guys!

Interview scheduled - Waiting for EAD
Hi,

I applied for my AOS through marriage. I am married to a US citizen.

I applied for i-130, i-485 and i-765.
My PD is Dec 9th, done with my biometrics on Jan 12th. I have my interview scheduled for march 27th but my EAD status is still showing as application received.

Any idea what is the PD that is processed currently for EAD ?

Thanks,
Aswin.

EAD/AP renewal more than 90 days
Hello everyone! I just want to share my EAD/AP renewal experience recently...
Nov 11, 2016 - mailed our application forms for our third EAD/AP renewal
Nov. 16 - USCIS receipt notice.
Dec. 29 - called USCIS for expedited processing.
Dec. 30- sent a letter request for expedited processing indicating a financial and job loss if we don't get approval before January 24, 2017 (expiry of our EAD)
January 07, 2017 - received a letter from USCIS that our request to expedite the case has been denied due to lack of evidence of financial loss.
January 25,2017 - me and my husband are forced to take a leave of absence from because of the expired EAD.
Feb. 01 - 75th day, USCIS advised us to call again on the 90th day for a service request.
Feb 16 - we called USCIS again to for a service request ouside normal processing time. (91st day)
             - we set an INFOPASS appoinment scheduled on Feb. 21, 2017
              - USCIS tech support told us to wait for another 30 days for their response on our service request.
Feb. 18 - we checked the online case status, "CASE was Approved"
Feb. 20 - card is produced.
Feb 23 - CArd is mailed.
Feb. 27 - we received our EAD/AP combo card with 2 years validity! (feb 18,2017-feb17, 2019)

The agony of waiting was so stressful, but prayers and patience really helped. We were told by the USCIS tech support that there is a large amount of applicants that's why probably there's a bit of delay in the processing. To those who are still waiting, it will come. Do not worry a lot :)
