Just wanted to share my experience. I was renewing my EAD/AP card pending 485 adjustment of status. The following is my time line
11/20 - Mailed in the renewal documents to USCIS (Lincoln, Nebraska)
11/24 - Received the notice saying document received
12/21 - Card production ordered
12/27 - Card dispatched from USCIS
12/29 - Received the card
Thanks to comments on this site I did apply well in advance of the expiration of my EAD and luckily received the new documents in short order. Good luck to everyone else.

I applied for my EAD along with I-485, I-130, I-131 after marrying USC.
Applications were received by MSC on September 26, 2016, did fingerprinting on oct 26, 2016 and it has been pending since.
I raised SR on 75 days for EAD, received reply from USCIS that my case is currently under review and will receive decision or any other notice shortly.
Raised another SR on 85, same reply.
Called USCIS and customer rep said i cannot submit another SR, have to wait 30 days to submit a new SR.
i recently got a job offer and they want me to start work on jan 9.
Is there any sept applicants experiencing the same delay?

Family-Based i-485 Experience

So I have yet to post in this forum, as I've been posting updates in the i-765 forum. But since I have already received that I'll post my experience, thus far, here!
Service Center: MSC (Missouri)
Filing from: Kentucky, USA
Priority Date: August 29th, 2016
August 26th, 2016: Applications mailed out
August 29th: Applications Received
September 30th: Biometrics appointment scheduled
September 20th: Walk-in biometrics done
October 18th: RFIE recieved
October 20th: RFIE mailed out
November 28th: Filed service request for i-765 (90 days)
December 5th: Status for EAD changed to "Card is being produced"
December 13th: Card in hand
December 19th: i-485 status changed from "your case is ready to be sceduled for an interview" to "Interview scheduled January 19th, 2017."
Be patient everyone! This has been a long and exhausting journey for me but I am feeling incredibly blessed with the movement of my cases. Since receiving my EAD I've gotten a job lined up and just went to get my driving permit today. I hope all goes well at my interview as that is the final step to getting my green card! Good luck to everyone else on their journeys.

Can I do any kind of work on EAD? I am on H1B. But I want to change employer. I know on EAD you can work for any employer, but can I do any work? Or only H1B type work?
Another info, although I am on H1B, my EAD is not through employer. My spouse applied for GC, i140 was approved and since our PD is current, we filed for our aos. He already got his EAD long back, I just got mine. With this EAD can I do ANY type of work?

EAD mailed but i131 says case was received
My EAD status changed to card was mailed but i131 is still case was received. Does this mean I will not get the combo card?

I-797 received on Nov 2nd.
Recieved the approved card on dec 16th.
Processed at Nebraska center for L2 applicant.
