Sep 28: Interview scheduled (i485)
Oct 12: EAD Approved
Oct 13: EAD Status changed to ”new card being produced"
Oct 27: EAD Status changed to “Card was mailed“.
Oct 28: Card picked up by USPS (via USPS website tracking)
TIP ABOUT TRACKING EAD CARD:
USCIS is usually late at giving tracking number. Sometimes the website doesnt even give that. To automatically get the tracking number, go to usps.com and sign up for MyUSPS account. Enter your address and phone in the registration. In settings select receive notification in email and text. From now on if any document or parcel is mailed to you, you should automatically see the tracking number and who sent it, where its being sent from, the transit progress and most importantly, the arrival date. However, if your card has already been picked up or mailed, then you may not see the tracking in USPS because you created the profile AFTER the activity. Best is to create the USPS profile at least a week before you expect the card to be mailed.
If you already have the tracking number, just plug it in and you will be able to see its journey across the US to your doorstep. :)
My EAD will arrive on Monday 31st October (right on my i485 interview day) according to the USPS tracking. It usually takes 2-3 days for it to arrive since its sent by Priority Mail.

10/17/2016: I received my approval letter
10/26/2016: My work permit expired
10/27/2016: I have NOT received my work permit card! I have been temporary dismissed from my job until I receive my card, and it is driving me crazy!!!

I just started following this forum couple days ago. My case with approved on 10/11/16 but there was no change in status until today. Just wanted to share my experience as I see a lot of people are eagerly waiting just like me.
08/03/16 - Case received by USCIS
08/11/16 - Called USCIS Tier 2 service to expedite
08/18/16 - USCIS sent response to expedite request. Asked to fax supporting documents to Fax # provided
09/01/16 - Biometrics appointment. Also faxed offer letter
09/07/16 - USCIS “On September 7, 2016, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number WKD **** *”. Never received any response. Also I was not able to look up case online
10/04/16 - Called USCIS Tier 2 service as until now I was not able to look up my case with the Receipt #. Office said my case was with an immigration officer and I should have my card soon
10/07/16 - System finally updated and I was able to look up my case with Receipt #. Also status changed to “New card is being produced”
10/11/16 - Status changed to “Your case was approved”

DACA approved but no EAD
This sucks I have been without a permit since September 30, 2016. I did my biometrics on the 5/13/16 and submitted my paper work on time. My DACA was approved on the 10/11/16. As of 10/24/2016 I have not received my working permit. This sucks I lost my job. I am an electrical engineer. I am going to leave Houston after I get my permit and go back to El Paso Texas my hometown this sucks.

I am going to renew my EAD soon, but wonder how to answer the question 11 on the I-765 form:
Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from USCIS ? The answer is yes but not sure about: Which office ? Last year, I sent it the Vermont service center but then they transferred it to TExas office . The I-797 was produced by Texas service center. So which office should be I use to fill in the form ? Also the dates ? is it the date of EAD start and end date or the received date on the I-797 ?

Does RFIE on I-485 affect EAD case?
So I checked my case status for my I-485 and it says "A request for initial evidence was mailed..."
For my I-765 it stil says "your case was received August 29th..."
Will the RFIE affect or delay my EAD case? I haven't gotten the RFIE in the mail yet so I don't know what I was missing but I am so worried it will delay my EAD. ANY sort of insight would be greatly appreciated, I've worried myself sick waiting for this EAD.
