its 10/21/2016 today and still no update about card being shipped. I know i am a little impatient right now because from what i have seen it usually takes two week, but i have a good job lined up and i want to start as soon as possible. Called boss yesterday, he said that he doesn't mind waiting. So i guess have to wait. Can you guy tell me how long you waited to receive your card since Card in Production stage.

Waiting for card after approval.
My attorney screwed up and for 3 months wince june i was waiting for my EAD (asylum applicant) untill i decided to go for info pass appointment. At info pass they told me that the aplication of EAD is not even in the system. So i went back to my attourney, they checked and found out they didnt put a tracking number on the application and it probably got lost. Well thats just my luck.

Expired EAD- Terminated from Job- Driver's License expiring soon
Hello All,
First of all I didn't have all the necessary information about EAD renewal so I applied late. I applied for my EAD renewal based off category C8, asylum pending. When I applied for renewal I assumed it was a 30 day turn around (Which was true for the initial application but not for renewal which I knew after contacting USICS)

8/25/2016- USCIS received my I-765 for EAD renewal
9/27/2016- I called USCIS about my expiring EAD ( Expiration : 10/05/2016) and I was told they cannot do expedite request so they submitted service request and was told will take 15 days to get response.

I called USCIS several times to see if there was any other way but every time I got negative answer

10/05/2016- EAD Expired and it was my last day at work. I called USCIS again and got transferred to second tier immigration office who helped me create an expedite request as I explained her my situation.

10/06/2016- It got response to my service request that was created on 9/27/2016. "We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently in line for processing and adjudication. Cases are processed in the order in which they were received. "

10/12/2016- My Expedite request was completed and it says "we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number"
I have not received any email or mail for that yet.

10/17/2016- I called USCIS again about it and they said they cannot see any response to my completed expedited request. I am not sure why and how?

In the mean time I also reached out to my congressmen office to help me with this case and they haven't responded it yet. I called but I wasn't treated in a good way, in fact I was told why I did not apply on time.

My driver's license is expiring on October 30th and DMV told me I must present them my EAD to renew it. At this point I am really panicking as I do not have job for 11 days already, I am single and there is no-one to support me. And my license is expiring.

I do understand I applied late but is there any other way to get it expedited? I am really all of your situations here and I hope I get some kind of directions as well.

EAD application timeline
Here is my I-765 timeline (concurrently filed with I-485)
Application filed: August 26th, 2016
Application received: August 29th, 2016
Biometrics appointment scheduled for September 30, 2016
Walk in biometrics: September 20th, 2016
So far, my case hasn't changed from "Your case has been received"
My cases are being processed at the NBC center. Any kind of feedback or shared experiences with this center would be appreciated, as I'm anxiously waiting to get an EAD card so I can get a job/drivers license/go back to college. Best of luck to all, I know the waiting is the worst part of this process!

EAD Application
Hi, here are my dates and current status

05/18 - Received date
07/12 - Receipt notice came in
07/21 - Biometrics done (walk in)
09/28 - EAD card expired
09/29 - Case approved (Received approval notice by mail same day)
09/29 - "Card is being produced"
As of today (10/16) - No updates. It still states same "Card is being produced".

I made a call on 10/14, but I was told to wait. I read somewhere in August, that USCIS systems were having difficulties, so some applicants were effected and being delayed. Not sure if this was true.

EAD/AP experience
Hey there!

Here is my experience regarding the EAD and AP timeline.

Receipt notice 06/16
Biometric appointment 07/13

After a long wait I decided to raise a service request on 09/24
I received a response saying that my case is under review and I would receive a decision shortly.
Ever since I call the customer service once a week in case they have more information about my case.
Its been now 4 months and my travel date is dangerously approaching (end of November).
I am super stressed out with this delay, 120 days is way beyond their time frame.
I decided then to call the customer service and get transferred to a tier 2 agent (200 minutes wait...).
The agent tells me that all the cases of June 16 will be considered outside of the normal processing time after another
40 days!!! It's insane I'm scared I'll have to cancel my trip to Europe. I also decided to take an infopass appointment however I'm not sure it this will help or not.
Anyone experiencing cases like mine?
