Timeline and what is going on?
Hi guys! Let me share my timeline and i've got a couple of questions.
I'm applying for EAD based on asylum c(8). USCIS website says 3 weeks processing time, max 1 month. So:
April 28 - case received by Vermont Service Center
May 12 - Update. Case was transferred to Nebraska
I raised couple of SR and 1 Expedite request due to severe financial loss (no positive result)
JULY 11 - Update! Your case was transferred to another office! Seriously? AGAIN?
How can it happen? Are they playing or what? Whats going on? Any suggestions?

03/15/2016 - I765 application received by USCIS
03/29/2016 - Application transferred to Potomac office
05/02/2016 - Submitted 1st request to expedite the case under Financial emergency but it was rejected.
05/30/2016 - Contacted local Senator to submit another request for case expedition.
06/10/2016 - Submitted service request to check case status.
06/13/2016 - Received a response on service request that an officer has been assigned to my case.
06/23/2016 - Submitted another request to get my case expedited but all in vain.
06/29/2016 - New Card was ordered
06/30/2016 - Case was approved
07/05/2016 - Card was mailed
07/08/2016 - I received the card in mail. Usually they send it by priority mail, so you will get it by 3rd day. If you have signed up with USPS for tracking all packages in your name then you will get a message from USPS about the location of your card.

EAD renewal
My lawyer recently submitted my EAD renewal (two weeks ago). We submitted the renewal because of slow down at my local USCIS office. I have received no notice from USCIS in regards to the EAD renewal. Is this normal for a renewal?

I764 Form Delivery Failure
Hi all, I recently received the notification saying that the post office could not deliver the I765 form to my address, which I am quite certain that it is the correct one. They gave me options to either request another form or change my address. I did both, but they told me to expect a reply in a month. I don't mind waiting for them to redeliver the form, but are they going to stop reviewing my case until I get the form? I am currently out of the country, and I think I need the EAD card/I765 notice to re-enter US, so it would be a great trouble if they are going to stop reviewing my case just because this notice could not be delivered. Has anyone experienced this situation before?

April 13 - USCIS received application
June 30 - New card was processing
July 6 - New Card was mailed out
July 8 - Called USCIS for tracking number, should be getting it in the mail by tomorrow if all goes well!

Urgent Help - EAD
Hi All,
Hoping anyone can help me with this. I am on L2 and my received date for EAD renewal is Apr 1, 2016 (90+ days and still pending).
At the time I applied for renewal my husband's L1 (and my L2) was expiring on 10-Sep-16. My husband's company applied for L1 extension (along with L2 extension and EAD renewal again - all together) on June 24th, 2016 under Premium processing.
So currently I have 2 EAD application pending at USCIS since my first EAD was delayed (one with received date Apr 1, other with received date June 24).
On July 1, i received update on my old EAD application saying "Name was Updated".
I have been out of work for 1.5 months now (current EAD expired on May 20th) and now face risk of losing employment. Will greatly appreciate if anyone can help me with following questions -
1. Is USCIS holding up my EAD (with April date) to wait for decision on L1/L2 extension (15 day for Premium processing will be over on July 10th). Not sure if they can link old EAD with new extensions filed. If not, if this EAD gets approved, will my expiration date on this EAD be until Sep 10th (valid for around 2 months). In latter case. I will have to go through entire ordeal again and will definitely lose my job
2. Is there anyway I can inform USCIS of current L1/L2 extension receipt numbers which is in premium processing so I get the expiry date on EAD (with received date in April) to reflect update I-94 date after extension?
3. What does Name was updated means? I didn't apply for any change in name details
4. Lastly, any chance that if you apply for L1 extension in Premium with L2 and EAD in same package, all cases will be reviewed by the immigration officer at once, if not atleast they consider my old EAD application pending for more than 90 days and give some grace period.
Aplogies in advance for series of questions, just tensed with fear of losing job. My employer is given me a week's time to obtain the documents else I face termination since I have been out of work for 1.5 months already. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Its July now, there are many of us who applied in April haven't got EAD approved yet. Some of us have already hit the 75 day mark and rest of us will be there in a few days. Its time when we will be able to raise SR based on 'Approaching Regulatory Timeframe'. We don't much any idea on USCIS process and when the approvals happens. All we can do is to share our experiences and help each other.
Requesting all of you to post your experiences. I will start with mine.
My received date is 21st April, today is my 75th day, tomorrow I am going to raise an SR. I am also considering contacting local congressman since I have a job offer coming up in 2 weeks. My case is with Nebraska center.

EAD RENEWAL
Me, my wife and daughter all have submitted for EAD renewal and have receipt dated 03/09 but the case check on the website says the number not found. I have called them several times and the agent says its a technical problem. Now our EADs are expired and when i checked with an USCIS officer, she said my legal status is valid since I-485 is pending AOS and EAD is sent for renewal. My attorney says even though my status is valid, i still cant work and draw salary. Can someone put some light on this.

EAD card explanation
Did anyone get this message "U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer" what does it mean and why does my case should be reviewed by an officer. I tried it to track my case it says "name was updated" is this normal because it's been more than 103 days now. Please guys I need help asap because I literally started panicking.
