EAD (WorkPermit)

Hello everyone,
My I-765 application has been pending pass 90 days now and I wonder what next step can I take. I've submitted a service request via phone on day 76 that I received no response, I just submitted another one online today since it officially passed normal processing time (90 days).

I am trying to get an infopass appointment but none is available (I will keep trying) at NYC Federal Plaza, but from what I've read here, most of the times these appointment are not very helpful.

Would getting in touch with my congresswomen be the next step? Do I need to wait longer before doing that?

Any suggestions are appreciated, this waiting with no update at all is super frustrating and reading the experiences on here has been very helpful.

Concurrent filing: I-130, I-485, I-765
Priority date: 2/29/2016
Biometrics (I-765): 4/8/2016
Biometrics (I-485): 5/2/2016
Service Request (I-765 pending pass 75 days): 5/16/2016 [No response at all, status remains "your inquiry is currently not assigned for processing"]
Service Request (I-765 outside normal processing time): 5/31/2016 [Current status: "your inquiry is currently not assigned for processing"]

Hi - wanted to add my experience so far re Green Card application family based; this site is great, so contributing our info - we got the EAD/travel auth card 5/28 and are now waiting for the I-485 interview notification. Anyone has any idea re time frame for this, do let us know!

 1- 3/11/2016 (I-485), I-130 (travel), I-765 (EAD workd permit) package received 3/11, fingerprint fee received 3/15/2016 at MSC Center (this is for our case filed in New York City, NY).

2- 4/21/2016 Update I-485 " as of 4/21 ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxx, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice "

3- 5/28/2016 - EAD / Travel Parole card received in mailbox, was approved 5/20/2016.

So it was about 75 days from day of mailing to receipt of EAD work permit card in our case. All the best for you all !

This is a Short Summary of My GC process. I want to know When I may Expect my Case will be picked up for GC.

1. PD 2008/March/13 on EB3
2. Ported to EB2 in Feb 2016 with new 140
3. EAD/AP/GC Applied on April 13th Texas processing
4. Acknowledged on April 20th
5. Receipts of Application and FP fee April 29th
6. FP Date May 10th Attended 1 Week Earlier.
7. Priorities Dates went back to 2004/5
8. Attorney Clarified It won’t hamper EAD as You have applied for it.
9. May 23 Got approval notifications on site.
10. May 26th Changed to My Card Mailed notification
11. May 28th Card got Delivered to Post box ( As One nice Guy Suggested Created a USPS tracker I Created it, It helped me in Tracking).

My Questions
1. EAD is Valid for 1 year How to Renew, what’s the process?
2. What happens next to GC process?
3. Was thinking abt getting the Stamping done in Mexico, Any suggestions As No Dates available in India for June July 2016.

I have few questions for EAD

1. How long does it takes to get the EAD in California State and which office to contact in California? Any link to check the EAD offices in U.S. ?
2. Once I apply for EAD do I need to be in U.S, or can I come back ?
3. Do they call again for Bio Metric? If yes after how many days ?
4.If I miss BioMetric can I do it again or do my EAD gets rejected and need to apply again?

I need all these details as I have not resigned from my current job in India and need to serve the notice period or what reason I can give to my current company for them to relieve me asap.

Appreciate to provide me with inputs at the earliest.

Wanted to share frustrating experience.
On February 11th 2016 Uscis received my renewal application my current EAD expired on April 30th so since then I have not been able to work because if I do I'm breaking the law. On May 6th submitted a service request over the phone and received a letter a few days later that just said it's under review. Waited 2 more weeks and submitted another service request online. This time received email stating the same that the case is under review. Today I am at day 106 since they received my application and no update only thing it says online is case received.. My EAD is based on a pending I485 adjustment of status. The renewal paperwwork went to the NBC office (National benifets center) in Lee summit Missouri. Is anyone else in my same situation? I tried providing as much information as I could on here to see if anyone can share there experience. This is very frustrating because I have been without work for 1 month now and bills don't wait as we all know.

I currently reside in Seattle , WA. On Feb 16, 2016, the USCIS received my I765 application and now it has been 106 days after the case was received and there is still no news about new card being produces. Below is the actions that I have took:
1. On the 90th day: Raise a SR for investigation (and they ask to be given about 30 days to investigate what is wrong)
on the 90th day: I contacted my local senator to bring the issue, and the office will contacted me if there is any new news
2. on the 102 days of waiting I called the Cust Service and ask my case to be expedited, then we created another SR, I have to wait for 5 days to receive any more updates.

I have been out of work for 5 weeks with no income and no health insurance as well, I might lost my job if I have to wait another 60 days for the renewal EAD card.

Anybody has good advice for me at this time? Beside for calling and asking for updates to Cust Service because I have done that million times. Thank you, your input is highly appreciated!

I need some advice on this please. I got a mail from USCIS that my card has been delivered to my address. When I pulled up the details from the UPS site by the tracking number provided, I saw it has been delivered to the incorrect address. Should calling up USCIS tomorrow morning solve the issue?

SHOULD I CALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ALREADY?? ITS BEEN 2 MONTHS AND ABOUT 25 DAYS

Application reached to Potomac Service Center on 03/25.
Status updated to "New Card is being produced" on 05/24.

When could be my OPT start date?? While applying I have given my start date as 05/20.
And How many days it will take to dispatch the card once the card is generated?

Timelines

04/04 - Application received by Texas Service Center
04/18 - Case transferred to Arlington service center in Virginia (aka Potomac Service Center)
05/09 - Raised a service request for not receiving bio-metric appointment(I have renewed EAD 4 times before and this is the first time without receiving bio-metrics)
05/12 - Got a reply for the service request saying that they do not need a bio-metrics and they will be using the data from previous records

My current EAD expires on 06/30 and I already received two emails from my office asking for the renewed documents.

Hope I get it on time.
