EAD 106 Days still counting - Wat Next ??
Dear friends,
This site helps you to keep patience in this never ending frustrating wait. I would like to explain my case for L2 first time EAD , Nebraska service center where I'm done with all option .
Now only option is to wait
My timeline,
10 nov - Case Received and accepted
16 Nov - Received I797 Notice of Action from USCIS
till date status is same as day 1 :(
I have raised SR after 90 days but received generic response , delayed due to backlog . Additional 60 days time frame mentioned
I have contacted local congressman who submitted the enquiry on 05 February and got the response that they are considering my case to expedite but to timeframe mentioned and not yet assigned to an adjudicating officer.
From forums understood that infopass appointment provides the same information as call center.
Do we have any more options?

This forum helped me a lot. My status for EAD changed today to NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED after 97 days, it was based on pending asylum. I contacted local congressman last Friday and my case status changed today. Good luck to all

The Forum is always been helpful to all. I have applied my I-130, I-485 and I-765 at Chicago and the PD is December 08.
The status of my all applications still showing "My Case Received". I tried to create a SR but they advised me to do it after 75th. day.
Is there anybody else on the forum from Chicago and close to my PD, please share your experience / progress as i am desperately waiting for my EAD

EAD Request for further evidence - RFE
I received an RFE for my EAD application after 2 months of case received status. They didn't like my signature in blue ink, and my signature was bigger and outside of the box.
Be sure to take note of that piece of information when you apply to avoid delays due to RFE

EAD received in 30 days
I would like to share my exp for new EAD.
I send the package containing all the documents listed in USCIS website on 9th Jan2016.
Received package Recipt date 11thJan2016 at Texas Service Center.
Did not check status online as forums suggested it takes atleast 90days.
Yesterday checked mailbox and found the EAD and notice i797.
:)
The reason i might have got the EAD in such a short time may be -
1. I already had SSN as i had travelled on L1 in 2008.
2. Currently i am on L2.[Spouse of L1]

My case status says that they received my case on Novembrr, 19 2015. I did it by myself, without a lawyer.
I'm from Long Island. I went to Holtsville office.
Anyone who has the same PD and is from LI??
I'm desperate. :(.

Fresh L2 application at Nebraska SC

As I wrote previously, I would like to update my status:
Oct 7, 2015 USCIS received my application
Dec 23 and Jan 16, I and my attorneys issued SR, received generic answer
Jan 28 - I contacted congreswoman: I found my local congresswoman here: http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/. Then I went to website of that congreswooman and just write an email through the function Email me (you can not attached any information here).
Jan 28- USCIS issued RFE (because of photos was used for other document, it can not be used for EAD)
Feb 01 I received answer from congreswoman-" I would be happy to try and assist you with the status of your EAD card. In order to do so, I will need you to fill out the attached privacy act release form. Please make sure you sign the document and return it back to me with a copy of the last document you have received from the Nebraska Service Center."
Since USCIS issued RFE, I decided to wait, and contact congreswoman again, when I will receive RFE.
Feb 9- I received mail of RFE from USCIS.
Feb 11 - USCIS received my answer to RFE. Online status changed to "Response To USCIS'
Request For Evidence Was Received"
Feb 11- I contacted congreswoman again. I sent my job offer and explain my situation in details.(Job offer was not required, but since I have one, I sent it, willing it would help).
Feb 17- I received answer from congreswoman, that she contacted Nebraska Service Center .The supplemental information I submitted was received 2.11.16 and my case was sent back to an adjudication officer for final ruling on EAD. This process can take up to 2 weeks so I should have an answer by 2.25.16.
So now, again- I should wait. Its 133 days, according USCIS 119 days ( since time was stopped when RFE is issued).
