USCIS Phone number
Hi Frieds,

I wanted to double confirm before calling again to USCIS.

I am using 1800-375-5283.

Is this the correct number to call for inquiry about EAD status.

I have doubt, every time I call I don't get proper answer.

So i was just wondering whether this is the correct number.

Thanks,
Jagadevi

I -765 and I-131 approved after 45 days!
Hi guys,

I am very appreciative to this forum and will like to share my timeline and experience.

12/18/2015: Documents (I-140, I-485, I-765, I-131) sent to USCIS
12'/21/2015: Documents received at USCIS ( Texas Center)
01/04/2016: Received all 4 NOAs
40 days have passed
02/02/2016: called the congressman office in DC but whoever handles that locally could not be reached
02/03/2016: the lady called back and send me the privacy form to be signed
02/03/2016: sent back the privacy form and other documents ( CV, letter from company and etc)
02/05/2015 at 2:00 pm; Received text messages and emails that I-765 and I-131 were approved. The card /Document is in production.

By the grace of God, it will arrive next week

I am so grateful to the congressman office which handles this.in a matter of 24 hrs they change the course of action on my cases. My lawyer may have something to do with this as I wrote to him on Monday but I will never know.

My ADVISE will be to contact the congressman's office as soon as possible. Don't wait if your life depends on it. But be very professional and make sure you address the severity of the situation and make sure to send any document that could support your case.

Without the suggestion of others on this forum, I would have never known how much impact congressman can have on these cases. Thank you all of you who shared your experiences to help others.

I wish all of you GOOD LUCK. Don't despair but instead take action.

May God Bless

EAD
Hi All

I have applied for EAD on dec 24 and I got mail on Jan 15 that they couldn't deliver the notice postoffice returned, I raised a request for resend also address change separate request as there was a mistake in the way i have specified address.

I got email for the first one that they will resend the notice which is 7 days ago and i did nt still get it.
For the second request they have sent email that

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently with an adjudicating officer. You should receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days.

Now i am confused whether my process has been stopped or only address change request will take time?

Hi,

I have been waiting for my EAD for 4 months now. Here is my timeline:

1st Oct 2015: Applied for EAD (Vermont center)
2nd Oct 2015: My case was received
Nothing changed after 90 days
13th Jan 2016: Raised a service request to check the status.
27th Jan 2016: Received response from USCIS, saying that my case is with a immigration officer and I should receive a notice from them within 60 days.

I-485 and EAD
i-485 is only for my 9 year old son, I already have a greencard.

Dec 7th Biometrics done
Then they requested proof of my child's I-95. When I applied for the I-130 his status was legal, but by the time we got to I-485 he was already illegal. I was reading that for kids there is not such rule as still having to be legal, not sure.

On January 6th they have received my paperwork in response for the Request for additional evidence, nothing has changed since then.
Someone had the same kind of issue?

I-765 EAD
Received application on nov 23rd
Biometrics done on january 13th
Nothing has changed since then? Someone with the same time line that has got some answers already?
thank you

60 days of filing I130, I131, I765 and I485. Status is they have sent me a document.
My timeline is as below:
4th Dec Applied for I130, I131, I765 and I485
9th Dec received NOA for I130, I131, I765 and I485
8th Jan completed Biometrics
28 Jan received NOA for I765 again with a red stamp on bottom saying "action completed approved for filing"
Since then the USCIS case status for I765 is that they have sent me a document. For I130, I131 and I485 the case status is still " case received".
Can anyone tell me the meaning of the red stamp or why I received two NOA for I765?
Please no RFE yet.
