USICS EAD DELAY
I filed for renewal of my EAD for me and my wife on November 16, 2015. So technically it has been 77 days since my application has been pending. Currently I am unemployed and my wife has a job. But thanks to USICS the 90 days is approaching and she is about to loose her job if an EAD is not approved soon enough. I tried calling the service center through the 1-800 number and they cannot do anything to expedite the process. I also had a chance to speak to a rude ISO through the phone but no luck at all. I tried to reach out to the senator but they review my documents in 2 weeks. Two weeks is all I have to save my wife's job but no luck there as well. I am so much frustrated. Seems like there is nothing much I can do about it.

EAD not approved after 90 days. What should I do?
Hi,

My application for EAD was received by USCIS on October 30, 2015. It's been more than 90 days now and the application status still shows "received".

I called the Service Center and they have raised a Service Request starting with "T1B***" but they said that it could take unto 30 days for a response on the Service request.

I asked them to raise an expedite request, but the person said that an expedite request is only raised in emergency or special cases.

What should I do?

EAD - Employment question?
Hello Friends,

1. I got a job offer from a consulting firm (Maple Systems).
Maple Systems is offering me a job on their W2. Job title is Programmer Analyst at Maple Systems and I have the same job title 'Programmer Anlayst' with my current employer - Wizard Systems.
2. I currently have a employment based EAD. Backgorund about my EAD: I and my wife have given our bio-metrics in September 2014. We have renewed our EAD's recently for the second time last year in June 2015 and the expiration date of our EAD's is Sep 2017. My wife has filed her green card as a dependent on me.
3. I am currently employed with the company Wizard Systems and planning on give a two week notice to leave my current company (Wizard systems)if no legal issues.
4. My wife got a mail from USCIS dated December 30, 2015 that her travel document is being rejected as her permanent residency is approved.
5. On checking my I 485 status online. The status says finger print received on September 18th, 2014.

Questions:
1. Will there be any legal issue, in my green card processing if I change my employer and take the offer at Maple Systems?
2. Is there a need for filing AC-21? or is it not needed?
3. If my current employer Wizard Systems withdraws or cancels my I-140. Will this affect my green card process?
4. Also, should I inform my future employer (Maple Systems) about assistance in documentation for green card in the future.

Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

L2 EAD card
Hi All,

I have a very looooong story to tell here on L2 EAD process. My case was received by USCIS on September 30 2015,in between, I raised SR's when I was in the regulatory Time frame (reply was to provide them additional time as am in queue)and other when I crossed the regulatory frame. As a response for my last SR dated January 21, they finally changed my status from ' Case received...' to 'Mail sent for Additional Evidence...' on January 28th.When I called customer care on January 29th for getting a hint on what additional details they required, the representative told me that they don't have any further info on this and I have to wait till I get the mail ,which even can take upto 15 days.People who are currently reading till this can now understand what kind of trauma I am going through. Can anyone suggest me what kind of additional evidence they need at this point of time and how long will it approximately take to untangle this and get my EAD card.

Thanks & Regards
Shali

I765
Hello everyone,

Today, I am writing this to help all those who are waiting for long time for their applications to get adjudicated.

My timeline -
I765 (Pending I485 based) received - OCT 7th/2015
First SR- Dec 20th, response was " within timeline"
Second SR- Jan 5th, no response what soever

So far my status was " Case received on oct 7th"

Jan 22nd/2016 - contacted congressman office
Jan 29th - case worker from congressman office called to inform me that the response they got was to wait for 30 days to hear back something.
I requested my case worker to please see if she can request an expedite on my case, fortunately she was willing to call back USCIS.
30 minutes later she called me to inform the the office who has my case is in office and the person in contact from USCIS informed my case worker that he's going to reach out to the officer assigned on my petition to adjudicate the case since it's way too off the timeline.
Jan 29th - case approved and card production requested within 30 minutes of my caseworker contacting USCIS.

Please contact your congressman office if you are waiting too long. Wish you all good luck.
