I131 AP approval notice lost
Current status of me is, awaiting for 485 interview. While I was moving from PA to VA, during the period my kid's I131 approval notice lost in mail in February and never received to us. As status on site was still showing "in processing" so when I enquired and raised SR at USCIS, they suggested to submit I824 form for "action on an approved application or petition". When checked further it has $425 fees, whereas if I apply fresh application it is free. So i have Q.
1. Should we resubmit new i131 instead of i824 for my kiddo?
2. As our visa is valid till march'19, can we still travel outside US alongwith my kid without approved i131 norice.
3. Anybody has suggestions?

Appreciate for your guidance in advance.

Is anyone in the same boat? or does anybody has any comments?
I applied on July 15,2018
Finger print done by 08/08/2018
Got confirmation on "finger print" by 08/15/2018
After that no updates, nothing, nothing about approval on even about I-140.
Does this mean my I140 was already approved and they are generating the EAD?

EB1 - limits?
I'm on Irish on an L1A visa

Timeline:

Feb 2017 - filling concurrent I485, I140
Feb 2017 - biometrics
Mar 2017 - EAD combo
Apr 2018 - RFE
Jul 2018 - I140 approval
Aug 2018 - RFE (medical expired)
Aug 2018 - RFE accepted

Since August 2018 there has been no update at all. I've waited patiently and regularly checked on the egov portal for any changes and nothing.

Today my lawyers tell me that there are no more EB-1 visas being issues in 2018 and they are hopeful that in the first half of 2019 for more to be issued. This language from my lawyers is a bit pathetic and worrying. I asked for further information but they will take 48 hours to respond.

My question for the group is -

I had no idea about the limits on EB1 visas (stupidly). Whats the status of this?

Ive checked on the uscis bulletin and it says Apr 2017 for category 1 and current for category 2/3. What does the apr 2017 date mean?

Thanks for any responses.

485 EB3 Pakistan 'Case Was Approved'
Today my case status changed to what is mentioned. I'd gotten a little disheartened and left this site and then I came back about a month back to check on some of the folks who'd been waiting for long and realized that they'd already gotten their cards three four months back and so I was glad for them but thought why me :) I see that there are folks who've been waiting for as much as 10 months after the interview. Anyway here's my crazy experience timeline:
Feb 2017: 140 filed
Feb 2017: 140 approved
March 21 2017: 485 filed
May 2017: Combo Card Recieved
Nov 2017: Supp J RFE
Dec 2017: Supp J response
Feb 2018: Contacted NJ senators office was told case is in normal processing time
April 2018: Second Combo Card received
May 2018: Switched employers, moved to Charlotte, NC
May 2018: Case ready to scheduled for interview NJ :(
May 2018: had already done the address change before the schedule but just got into bad timing of changing address two days before the status change. Contacted USCIS and senators office to move file
June 2018: Info Pass to see where the case was. Apparently sent to an office at virgin islands where the name of the office is Charlotte rd USCIS :(
July 2018: Info pass to see where the case was... found out it is being moved from Virgin Islands
July End 2018: Senators office response saying scheduled for end of August
August 10 2018: Rescheduled interview for August 28th
August 28th 2018: Long interview about 55 mins. Lot of questions regarding the job. Professional officer. Shook hands in the end and will let me know because of retrogression.
Sep 15 2018: Info pass to see what is going on. Was told the case was at NBC.
Oct 31st 2018: Text that there was a status change. Heart beat went up to 1000 beats a minute. 'Interview cancelled and notice sent'. I was actually calm because I'd read this forum and what that meant
Oct 31st 2018: Senators office forwarded email from USCIS that case was approved
Nov 1st 2018: 'Case Was Approved'

Interview - Employment based - NYC
Hi! I just had my interview and it went well. I was the first one of the day and I brought my attorney with me. She asked to see my passport, EAD and birth certificate. I had copies of everything and she kept it. She asked for my medical exam, she said the rule about it has changed but since it is new, she figured I had it anyway and wanted it to keep it. She was very nice, complimented me a lot. Great experience. I prepared myself a lot, and I was very confident. I am very happy and I want to thank this forum. Good luck to all of you.
