EB1 A or B regular i-140 timing !!!
Hi,
Waiting for my EB-1A i-140 result little more than 8 months now. The case is in NSC with regular processing. My application just crossed 6-8 months timing window they provided in their site for EB-1A. Should I wait little more time to raise SR? Is this timing pretty normal for NSC ? Or is it my case that got buried somewhere?

Please share your experience if you are on the same boat or applied in the same category.
Thanks in advance.

Interview is completed and must be reviewed
Hi there

I'm on L1A and in the EB1C category for green card. I did my interview in San Antonio on 8/29/2018. The interview went well and was short. the officer told us about visa retrogression and that we have to wait till October.

It's been 2+ months and i'm a bit concerned. Anyone went through the same thing this year or before? anything I could do? I have infopass appointment set up in 2 weeks, just wonder if I should be concerned given the long wait.

Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Paul

EB1C India Case Ready to be scheduled for interview
Hi,

I am on EB1C India and my priority date is May 20,2017 and filed my 140 & 485 concurrently.Texas Service center & NJ interview jurisdiction.

On 10/30 my case status changed to "Case is ready to schedule for interview".

How long will it be , on an average, for the actual interview notice to be received and the actual interview to be scheduled based on your experiences.

Any insights on this will help me plan better - Thanks in Advance

Case is being held for review
Hi everyone,

I just had my interview today, during the interview, it went smooth and the officer said I got all I need from you. However, he still gave me the letter that click the section of “ your case is being held for review”. Just wanna ask is there anyone who received the letter and wait for couple months to approve or they still need something from us? Or got rejected?

Thank you so much!
I’m EB3
and the filled date is 5/18/18(I-485)

PostInterview-FurtherReview
Hi All,

I recently had my interview. However, the interviewer didn't like something on my Supplement J. Didn't issue any rfe right there but told me will need some time to review it and won't be able to give decision right away. Now I may either get approved after review or will be issued a rfe that I do not know.

Anyways, Is there anyone who is in a same boat. Had an interview but got said that 'further review required' (other than due to retrogression). And do you know how long you have to generally wait before you hear back anything?

I know two friends interviewed in March or April
2018 and waiting till now. Most people think it'll be
current in December or at the latest 1/2019.

Hello, I have mostly been a silent reader on here and a lot of you guys responses helped me throughout my process; which by God's grace has ended with my green card. I am posting my case to help others that are in similar situation to mine.

PD: 10/12/17
I-485 filing date: 4/3/18.. filed a little late due to some minor set backs from my part.
EAD in hand: 5/17/18
Notice for interview: 7/19/18
Interview: 8/23/18 in Houston- waited about 1 hr 30 mins to have my name called, was frustrated but thankful. Interviewer was nice, asked me for my name, DOB, country of birth, birth certificate, dates of the last time I left and entered the US, where I currently work, last few pay stubs, then we went over the very long YES/NO questions. I was sent a courtesy letter to bring 2 passport photographs with me; I had it but out of nervousness completely forgot about it. I was really worried about this and he never asked for it. He went over every single page on both my international passports. At the end he said everything went well, but visa was in retrogression and my case had to be transferred.

Side note: I was not working for the company that was filing for me at the time of the interview. I was still working in school. I also thought that might be a problem, but it wasn't. I am also about to be done with my masters (in May 2019) which will put me a level above the job I was being filed for. I was really nervous about being asked about this, but he didn't.

My status never changed from "Interview was scheduled" even after the interview- I called immigration and they told me that there was nothing that could be done giving timeline for Houston was about 10-24 months. Not helpful at all.
10/23/18: exactly 2 months after my interview: "Interview was canceled". I was shocked, spoke to my attorney, who said I shouldn't worry. I also saw some people from this forum saying the same.
10/24/18: "Card being produced"
10/25/18: "Card mailed"
10/29/18: Card in hand

Just can't thank God enough as my case has been a miracle all along. And for others out there waiting, just trust God and keep your faith/prayers and your miracle will happen. Thank you all so much.

Retrogression
EB2 row, I had my interview in mid August in Lawrence MA.

It went well and the officer told she would have approved if there were no retrogression.

But still no news and the online status is still "Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed"

Are there anybody left here who is waiting for the card? Or am I the only one who is still waiting for the card after the retrogression?
