All messed up
Hi everyone, this is so frustrating, today i got initial evidence for i485- Case status. I dont know what initial means but when i google them, i find it is different than rfe and not good, can also lead to denial,i dont know what to do now my i140 already got approved, what could this be? Also my ead is stuck in NSC, whereas i485 is transferred to NBC, and i have heard all ead and i485 process stops for 60 days after issue of rfe. How much true is that? Frustrated to the core.

interview experience
My spouse and I had our I-485 interview today (Employment based). We arrived 30 minutes early. in 40 minutes, the officer directed us inside his office for the interview. First, we took oath and singed a form indicating that we do not need our attorney at the interview. The officer was nice and started with I-485 form questions. First, he checked our identity cards, passports and I-94s. Then, he scanned through the info in I-485 forms and verified some information with us including most of Yes/No questions. He also asked for our marriage certificate and the proofs showing we are leaving together. We gave him the apartment lease, insurance cards and bills. He made copies of all of them. He also asked for my employment letter. Finally, he checked our medical documents. At the end, he said there is no problem with our documents and he is going to approve our cases. The entire interview took about 30 minutes.

Be Patient Guys! You will get there.

Interview at newark,nj
We had our EB2 ROW interview at newark, nj today. We had to wait for 1 hour but the actual interview took 25 mins. IO asked for birth and marriage certificates followed by basic questions from 485. Just make sure you know what is written in your form. Good luck everyone!
