Hello, I owe to this community, especially, in terms of patterning. We all know how it feels like forever.
Attached is timeline:
Feb 21, 2017 - filed all i-140, i-485, 1-765 adjustment of status from tourist to advanced degree greencard (eb2)
March 20, 2017- received ead
July 2017- i-140 approved using premium processing add-on
looooong waitttt....
May 17, 2017- i-485 RFE received Medical only
May 30, 2017- rfe RESPONSE was received by USCIS
June 11, 2017- ordered new card
June 15,2017- received green card (e26)

Need your suggestion
Hi Friends,
I have completed my GC interview on June 12th and was told that since I am from India, because of retrogression I will have to wait for the GC to be issued. I applied GC through Eb1 category and basically have finished all the steps until the final interview. Now I have to chance to move to a different state as I have more opportunities there.
Moving to a different state will delay the process or not is what I am confused about. As this will change the issuing office location from Newark to Washington. Also it is not clear when this case will become current.
Any suggestion friends?

Oct filler.Tucson office
Is there anyone at Tucson local office who got an interview. I filled my application on Oct 4th and got a status update on March 9th that my application is ready to be scheduled for an interview. It is been more than 3 months at the local office. I want to get an idea of how long should I be waiting for.

I know it's been a while and many of us stopped asking and replying about this?
I know it is very frustrating because we see a lot who filed at a later time get a quicker response and us until now, we haven't received a good response about our papers.
I would like to ask on what are your other plans? I am planning to file a mandamus because it will be 18th month on July and I still don't get anything from them. No RFE, etc.
For those who have filed mandamus in any category, can you give us some idea about this. My lawyer suggested this and it costs a lot too.

Second RFE on 485 supplement J application at Interview
I need a suggestion on my case . My colleague went to an interview and he got an RFE on 485 supplement J . The IO argument was that there were many 140 filed by the company in last year so he wants to know if company is in good shape and still functioning. He has asked few evidence like bank statements, employer's financial standing, annual reports, shareholder summaries, tax returns etc . The employer says they will respond to the RFE in around two months time . I am going to interview in two weeks for same company but this colleague and I are from different state and different processing center. So my concern is will I also get the same RFE at the interview or every case is handled differently ? Any documents that I can take would help my case ? Please help me on this .
