If you do not receive your notice by June 15, 2018, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your notice by mail.

If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

2. I-485:

May 15, 2018

We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case
You do not need to do anything at this time
We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your case.

If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

Could you all please let me know if anybody has had a similar experience and typically how long does it take to get an I-485 approval after the interview? Just a little worried about how long it might take, typically i have heard people getting a major update by atleast a week after the interview.

Thank You All.

Case ready to be scheduled for an interview
This is my sequence

Jan 3rd - Case sent to another office for processing

March 12 - Case is ready to be scheduled for interview

April 4th - USCIS cannot provide information on your case

May 25th - Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

I am not sure if the glitch is cleared or this is a positive movement. anyone who had similar change, how long did it take for actual interview to be scheduled?

thanks

EB1B
Timeline for my case:

Case Type: EB1B, India. Filed at TSC

I-140 and I-485 filed concurrently for me and my wife: Dec 4, 2017.
My wife's I-485's application was absurdly returned and was refiled again on Dec 13, 2017.

My I-140 Approved on Dec 20, 2017 (Premium Processing)

Gave Biometrics on Jan 10, 2018.

Received my EAD/AP combo card on Feb 8, 2018.

Case transferred to NBC on Feb 9, 2018.

Me and my wife received RFEs on Mar 14, 2018. Simple ones: I had to resubmit my birth certificate. Her I-485 form had a missing page and all the pages in her form were not of the same revision date.

My wife received her EAD/AP combo card in April 2018.

Submitted our responses to RFE on Apr 19, 2018.

My wife received a courtesy notice saying her I-693 form was missing and she should get it along with her when she appears for the interview. Apparently, they lost it when they transferred the application from TSC to NBC.

Waiting since then for the interview notice.

Which website has more accurate data
Quick question,

My I485 case status has been updated to "Ready for interview" on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do website; meanwhile https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ still shows the old status.

I'm wondering which one is more accurate?

EB2-NIW I-485 Inteview
I filed I-485 on mid-July 2017. It is based on NIW, so no sponsor was involved. I am the only applicant. The interview is scheduled for the beginning of June 2018. A tax year passed in the meantime. For the interview, am I supposed to bring the tax return for 2017? I appreciate any information on this.
Thanks,

EB1A I-485 Interview - FL
Greetings for the day.

I completed my interview on 23rd May 2018. It’s straight forward questions. The interview lasted for 20 minutes & it was very smooth (Actual interview only 10 minutes remaining 10 minutes the IO was talking about Indian food & culture). The IO was very relaxed & cordial. The IO said we won't receive our card till the visa dates become current (Indian by birth). The IO didn't ask for any documents from the interview checklist.

Dates for my GC process are as follows.

I-140 & I 485 filled Concurrently. (Application received by USCIS on 13th Nov 2017)
I-140 Approval Date: 29th Nov 2017 (Normal Processing)
Biometrics: 13th Dec 2017
Case transferred to NBC: 18th Jan 2018
EAD / AP: 24th Jan 2018
Interview Notice: 23rd April 2018
Interview date: 23rd May 2018

Thanks

Interview was scheduled and cancelled
My interview was scheduled on May 29 and my lawyer received a cancellation notice saying that "due to unforeseen circumstances, it gets cancelled and they will let us know when it will get rescheduled." Anybody has this experience? what could be the possible reasons to cancel it?

My Lawyer said nothing to worry about, This is normal and USCIS has been cancelling some interviews recently.

Please help.

March 2018 filer-Case transferred to NBC
Hello everyone,

I am EB3 ROW. Filed 140/485 concurrently on March 2, biometrics on March 26, case transferred to NBC on April 11. For some reason, my case status changed to “case transferred to ....” atleast 3 times in a week. Ead/AP approved on May 15 but the approval notice came from TX, haven’t received actual ead card in mail yet. I called customer service for status on 485. It says fingerprint review was completed and the case is with TX service center. I am little confused here. Why is my application with TX service center after it was moved to NBC. Has anyone experienced same situation? Please let me know.
