My Dec 30th 2016 Filer, EB3, TSC, I-140 approved already, for I-485 got an RFE on 2nd March 2018 asking for New Medical, I-485 supplement J and G-325A. I am working it now to reply RFE
Question:
Can I hope that I will not be called for Interview and my GC will be approved after RFE reply only without interview since it was filed before 7th March 2017.
Does USCIS issue medical RFE after background completed or they will still be doing background check after receiving my RFE response.
Really bad news for Indians...EB1 retrogression starts April!!!
This will be my second retrogression... I am really sad about the unfair treatment of uscis... many people applied after me got GC already
All, Found no current for 1st category for China and India borned, showing the date 01Jan12 on Final Action Date for Employment-based case . But still showing "C" on Date for Filing of Employment-based.
What do 2 dates means? if peolee from China or India get I-140 (EB1) approval now, will they able to submit I-485? Thanks!
I recently changed my employer. Although my GC is still undergoing. If I go for the interview, does it matter if I don't say I changed my employer?
And btw, We filed my I485 in Oct 18 and case was transferred to NBC on Dec 27. Any wild guesses when I should expect an interview?
Anyone filed GC from F1. My H1B didn't get picked so the employer said we will apply for GC straight away. 485 filed november 2017, waiting for EAD and interview date. Anyone have the same experience? Going to GC without H1B.
In I-485 form, there is yes/no question "have you ever been denied visa". I had visitor visa denial in 2004. I was wondering if this question was asked to people who have already attended interview? Please share your experience! Do office want to elaborate this question?
Any input how to handle this question will be appreciated !
NO DECISION AFTER INTERVIEW MARRIAGE BASED GREEN CARD
Hey everyone well here is my situation i am currently on TPS i am from Honduras i came to the us in 97 with a visa and then my mother filed for TPS i have been on that since then so i recently got married to a usc 2/25/17 he was incarcerated for 10 years prior to our marriage but i knew him before he went in to prison for about 2 years before or so, then we got in contact while he was at the work release center march 2016 i visited him monthly sometimes biweekly because i am 3 hrs away from the work release center, well we got engaged and married 2/25/17 we filed in Oct 2017 went in November 2017 for bio metrics and went to the interview 3/8 okay here is how the interview went we went in this is in Tampa fl we brought in alll of our proof of our marriage photos, affidavits, bills under both of our names , cars, tax returns, well we went in we maybe waited 30 mins then we went in with my attorney, the main thing the IO asked was why we didn't list his prior address and we told him well my hubby did that he was incarcerated, so my lawyer told her we didn't think that was necessary as soon as he said that he was in prison she goes ohhhkayy hmm i have to separate you both, so i had to go outside this lasted maybe 1 hour with just my husband there , so i went in again ans my husband had to go outside, what bothered me is that she was mostly focused on how we met up when he was incarcerated, such as how often i went to see him, how and where, she was being very discriminating toward my husband that she even said how did you guys end up together so i told her i always kept in contact with his brothers ans asked about him and she goes why did you decide to end up being with him i told her he is such a great person, her response was, how someone that was just in prison can be considered a good person. i told her i don't discriminate or judge by anyone's past we all make mistakes, she said okay then she proceeded to ask questions such as what did we do after he got released , where did we sleep, where did we go, i did honestly forget where we stayed that night until after the interview i remembered , also my husband said he proposed in April when it was actually in June, then he said i used to go every 2 weeks and monthly to see him, and i said monthly unless my funds were okay for me to go every other week, anyways she was being very nasty and i honestly felt very uncomfortable, anyways she asked about who was who and all that and i told her i answered every question to the best of my knowledge then she asked if i ever visited him at the work release center i told her only twice since i used to go see him when his brother will pick him up or at his job , anyways she asked ohh do you have any proof you went to visit him at the center, i told her no i cant get that info, then she asked for her supervisor and my lawyer told her you do know its hard to get that kind of paperwork from DOC department of corrections, all she said that is out of my hands and then she said okay well this is the end i have concluded this interview ans you will receive a decision in the mail , i am honestly scared because they way she made it seem was like she didn't care so i asked my attorney and he said i think u will be approved i just think they are gonna have to review this due to him being in prison they have to investigate and all that so its more wok for them. so i am being optimistic BUT now here its my problem TPS for Honduras was automatically extended until 7/5/2018 we had to re-register to file IF they are going to reassign it after 7/5/18 the deadline was 2/13/18 so now im not sure what is going to happen, with this interview decision or do i have to wait at my doorstep for immigration. any of you have anything to say about this what are your thoughts on this.
