Will I have interview?

I am a dependent on my husbands's employment based EB3. Our dates became current in September 2017. My husband received his Green Card in just a few weeks as his I-485 had been pending for years. My I-485 USCIS receipt date is September 27 2017. My Biometrics were completed in mid-October. My EAD/AP was approved on Jan 4 2018. On Dec 21 2017, case was transferred to NBC but there is no update since then (local office Dallas). My husband who is the primary applicant was not interviewed. Will I be interviewed? If so I have not received interview schedule notification from NBC even though it is over 2 months. Anyone with similar case as mine?

EB2 NSC ROW RD JAN 2017
Hi fellow applicants,

Did anybody get this name update notification

""we updated your name for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number LIN YYYY X""

I received this by email and it shows on my case status as well for both me and my wife, we never changed our names and our application was filled out correctly.

Please share if you know what this means, thanks!

Timeline
It's time to share my timeline with this great community! Thanks to all of you who have shared their experiences, you have contributed to keep realistic expectations and peace of mind in anxious times. My advice to those struggling out there: "Do not despair, stay patient and strong, your time will eventually come"

My case has some unique peculiarities that not many people have faced before which may be of great value if you too run into the same circumstances.

5/24/2017 - PERM Approved
6/20/2017 - Filed I-140 (Premium Processing) and I-485 (EAD+AP) concurrently as EB-2 at NSC
6/27/2017 - I-140 Approved
10/16/2017 - Received EAD+AP with incorrect name in the card
11/27/2017 - Shipped the combo card back to USCIS for correction
12/8/2017 - Case transferred to NBC
1/28/2018 - Interview scheduled
3/1/2018 - Interview at local office in Chicago
3/1/2018 (15 minutes later) - New card is being produced!!!

The interview was very straightforward. Sworn oath, got fingerprints scanned and went through each and every field in the I-485 Form verifying the info submitted was accurate. I was convicted of a DUI back in 2015 so I was asked to provide originals from the court. Also had to provide latest pay stubs, tax return, W-2, letter of verification of employment. She told me there should be no reason for denying my application because of the DUI and that she would check with her supervisor and approve my case today, it only took them 15 minutes to update the USCIS website.

I hope this helps those fellows losing their patience and hope, good luck to everyone!

I-485 EB2 NIW
Hi,

Anyone know if National Interest Waiver (NIW) applicants are also required to go to interview or not?
SInce NIW cases is not associated with a specific employer, I guess the interview might be waived, or am I wrong?

My I-485 case has been transferred 4 months ago and still no interview scheduled!

Thanks

Changing jobs
Hi,
I filed my EB2 application (I-140+I-485) concurrently back in 2017 June.
My I-140 is approved in 2017 July and my I-485 is transferred to NBC back in December. Early January, I've received a Supplement-J RFE which we've been responded to. There has been no activity since then.

My question is about changing my employer while I'm still waiting for the green card. Has anyone done it before? Would there be a problem later on during interview? Could my current employer nullify my I-485 application given that my application was filed more than 180 days ago?

Please advise if you have any prior experience.

Switched jobs before i485 interview
Hi all,

I recently switched jobs while i485 was pending after more than 180 days, so I used AC21 for job mobility. Same title, same DOL code. Here's my timeline:

07/16/17 - Paperwork received by USCIS
8/12/17 - Biometric Notice
8/27/17 - Biometrics Done
11/27/17 - EAD approved
12/21/2017 - Case Transferred to NBC
02/03/2018 - Interview Notice

02/01/2018 - My last day at job A
02/07/2018 - I started job B (more than 180 days after submitting i485 and less than 1 week payslip gap).

I have payslips from both jobs A and B. Also I have SupplementJ filled with job B, but I'm not sure it's required since I'm already working.

Apart from my photo ID, payslips, supj form, birth certs, w2 form, and recent I94, is there anything else required for the interview?

Thank you
