New Card Ordered: Feb 27 2018
Green Card received: March 7 2018

AOS Interview at Santa Clara
I had my AOS interview on 02/22 at Santa Clara CA. Interview itself was very straight forward. Just asked for my name, place of birth, citizenship, employer and yes/no questions from I-485 form (same for my Wife). Only other documents requested were W2, pay stubs and a letter from employer. All the photo copies submitted with the I-485 filing were verified by the officer (Passports, EAD/AP, birth certificates and marriage certificates.)
We were told your case is being held for further review and that it is standard procedure. USCIS has all the documents needed for adjudication.
I have not received any updates so far post interview.
From other people experiences looks like people had to fingerprinting done and photos taken. This was not done in our case.

For EB1C filers TSC, Can you share when did you apply for I-140 and when did you receive approval?

This forum was very helpful so I am sharing my timeline to return the favor :)
March 2017 filed I-485.
May 2017 Bio-metrics appointment.
July 2017 received AP compo card.
Oct 2017 Case was transferred to another office.
Jan 13th 2018 Interview scheduled for Feb 13th 2018 Chatsworth office.
Feb 13th 2018 interview done and case held for further review.
Feb 16th 2018 RFE received for expired Medical exam.
Feb 20th 2018 new medical exam was sent.
Feb 28th 2018 case status changed to case was approved.
March 2nd card was mailed.
March 6th 2018 letter of approval received in the mail.
March 8th received the physical card in the mail.
I agree with most of the folks who got their GC when they say you just need to be patient. This is actually true. Just be patient and don't lose hope. I feel everyone and know how stressful this process could be. I have gone through the same hard time and I know how it feels. Don't worry it will take some time but everything will be OK. Be positive.

The only two things the officer asked to see are the job verification letter and the transcripts of my engineering degrees. I didn't have the transcripts with me so I provided the diploma instead.
I took my attorney with me. Any question please ask I will try to answer to the best of my abilities :)

New office transfer
Today I got an update that my case is transferred to new office. Does it mean NBC? How long does it take to scheduled an interview from NY office? Pleas share if you have the same experience.

Any EB 3 filer got interview notice. Just want to see how long it took to schedule interview after transfer to NBC? Is major cities like SFO, LA, Chicago etc a factor in longer wait times.
