Hi all, has anybody been to Visa stamping after filing for 140 and 485. My Visa expired and Petition was approved for L1 extension but haven't been outside to US.

Has anybody been in the same situation. I have my Parole 131 but wanted to know about L1 visa stamping on passport.

Do you have any update on I-140 which is filed during Jan 2017?

Did anyone had to do biometric twice? My filing is from May 2017 , did first biometric in June 2017 and now I got another notice this week to do another biometric in September 2017. I am confused why two? Called USCIS and they said not sure why I got another notice, but asked to do it again if I got the notice.

Anyone knows the average of time to get a response from an I485 RFE? It has been received by USCIS on the 23rd of August... haven't heard anything until now. Not sure if all TSC are experiencing delays due to the hurricane or only Houston. Thanks!

On August 30, 2017 still have this message regarding our case (Husband under L1A and me under L2)

Fingerprint Fee Was Received
On August 21, 2016, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number YYYY ZZZ. Our Nebraska Service Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

No news since that day.
Anyone got approved under EB1C with a similar timeline ?

Will the new rule (interviews) apply for us too ?

I have a doubt. Whether this new Rule applies to existing applicants or New applicants starting from Oct 1, 2017?

According to a notice posted on the USCIS website, all applicants filing employment based I-485/AOS will be subject to an interview.

I asked my lawyer if I would be affected, and they said, more than likely.

This isn't necessarily a new rule, it's just that previous to the executive order on immigration, interviews for employment based applications were waived. Since the executive order, that will no longer be the case.

Anyone who filed in May received EAD card yet? It has been 97 days since my case was received. Raised SR but doesn't seem to work at all. Does anyone contact congressman for help? Would it work? Please share your timeline, and any suggestions are appreciated. Good luck to everyone.

Any very patient July 2016 applicants who has heard anything from USCIS?
