I-485 Nebraska, EB3 India
Hi All,

Below are my case details.

India EB3, Nebraska SC, PD 12/06/2004
12/06/04 --> Priority Date for India EB3
10/03/04 --> Attorney posted docs for I-140, I-485, EAD, AP
10/04/16 --> Received by NSC, USCIS
10/17/16 --> USCIS Notice Date
10/14/16 --> Accepted Finger Printing Fee
10/30/16 --> Finger Printing Notice Date
11/14/16 --> Finger Printing Done
12/14/16 --> EAD and AP Approved
04/18/17 --> I-140 was approved

xx/xx/17 --> Waiting for I-485

USCIS Processing timings for I-1485 @ NSC shows 10/2/16 as per their update date 5/31/2017.

I can see some Nov/Dec'16 filers are also getting updates/approvals, but there is no update on my Oct'16 case.
I have set up alerts on my cases on USCIS website, but no alerts received and I see no updates in my account on USCIS website as well.

Anybody else is waiting like me?

Any recommendations on the next steps?

Thanks,

I-485 NSC
Hi all,

Filed for both i-140 and i-485 in late June 2017 NSC. I-140 got approved after few days with Premium Processing.
PD is March 2017.

I was just wondering if someone can explain how the retrogression for EB2 ROW will affect my application (see August 2017 USCIS bulletin).

Does it simply mean USCIS will not process ANY EB2 ROW visas with PD after April 2015 so theoretically everyone after that date will lose 2 months until USCIS continue in October 2017 as they first need to continue with the queue of GC that would have been processed right now (e.g. i485 with filing dates around 6-7 months ago).

Highly appreciate if someone explain the implications of the retrogression for EB2 ROW applicants.

Thanks so much!

Anyone else in the same situation?

09/09/2016: I-140 approved
05/24/2017: I-485, I-765, I-131 sent to USCIS (Filed concurrently along with Spouse’s application)
05/25/2017: USCIS Received Date

Any idea on what's the usual processing time these days at NSC?

Thanks in advance.

EB2 "No-Visa Available" Issue from August -1, 2017
It seems EB-2 applicants like me may going to face much longer waiting period as there will be no visa available for this category from August 1, 2017, as per USCIS visa bulletin; the good news is visa will become current again (visa available) from October 1, 2017 that implies a solid 2 month hibernation period.

On the other EB-2 visa is current for July 2017, therefore, we will be lucky enough if we get our case approved before 31st July. In case if our case does not approve by or on 31st July, then we have to wait till October 1, 2017.

Above is finding based on current situation - am I right or if you have any different thought or perspectives, please share. Thanks!

Tax Returns
Hi All,

Great community here. Lots of knowledgeable individuals. I have a quick question. How many of the users here submitted copies of their tax returns with their I485 application and is it REQUIRED? or is a w-2 and pay stub sufficient information for proof of income?

Thanks

EB3, TSC
I485 application went in on Feb 7, 2017
I 140 application already approved in Jan, 2017
Biometric Appointment in March 2017
Received EAD in April 2017

I485 application still pending. Website says "Fingerprint fee Received"

A lot of December filers I think are starting to hear back now. I am guessing 7 months is the processing time for a I 485 application, which would put me around September.

 NSC MAY BE longer

Updated Processing Time
Looks like the updated processing table is out.

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do;jsessionid=abcX6S0Ff6Hf8-dtrb90v

It looks like TSC is processing I-140 received at Feb 1st 2017 as of May 31st 2017.

My question is, how many of you that applied before that, is still waiting to hear back on your I140?

I applied in Jan and I am still waiting to hear back.
