I and my wife have applied for H1B & H4 Visa.
At the time of taking interview appointment, we both have filled 2 different forms on ustraveldocs.com but our Biometric & interview timings are same. Here I need your help to understand, if this will not cause any problem at the time of interview as we both would like to attend this interview together. I have my interview on 29th so any immediate help will be highly appreciable.

h1b visa stamp of indian citizen in South Korea
Interview : 6th feb 2018, got 221g green form to know more details on me (resume, travel history. invite letter)
doc submitted over email : 13th feb.
asked for status over email : March 1st, response, wait for update
response on 8th match: processing is done, submit passport
passport recevied by consulate on 12th match
asked for passport status on 20th march, case escalated asked to wait for 48hr.
received update that passport is ready with visa.
passport delivered on 23rd march
Long story with some twist and turns later..

status on ceac website
I applied for h1b visa and my case went into administrative processing.
When I try to track my case number at the ceac website, it says invalid case number.
However, when I use my application number, the website shows that the case is under administrative processing. Has this happened to anyone else? Why is my case number not being recognized?

Administrative processing after verbal approval - Mumbai
Hi,
This is regarding H1B visa stamping ( from F1 Visa)
I appeared for biometrics on 19th March and Interview on 20th March
Officer asked me straightforward question about designation, name of university from where I did MS and my current location.
He verbally mentioned that my Visa is approved and that he will keep my passport.
I was not given any slip or additional form.
I work for a well known software firm in Bay Area and very sure my work does not come under TAL.
The visa status on CEAC mentions "Administrative Processing". The case was last updated on 23rd March.
The passport status on US traveldocs mentions "Your passport is with consulate"
I see quite a few facing same situation in different consulates.
Anyone from Mumbai consulate facing same issue and went for interview in past few weeks?
Any share about similar situation is deeply appreciated.

Got 221g on H1, can I go for re-stamping on approved amendment
Hi,
I had an approved petiton with client A for 3 years, changed job location and filed H1B amendment. travelled to India with approved petition for visa stamping in Dec 2017, got 221g and still waiting.
Now my H1Amendment has been approved.
Can i go for fresh visa stamping on this new petition?
Pls Note:Everything is same only client is different.

Hi All
Any went through stamping in Riyadh, KSA and would like to share their experience. How was it? Secondly anybody would like to share their experience of first time stamping. I have never worked in the US and its my first time. Wat should i expect in the interview? Lastly, i also have a valid visit visa (B-1,2) and i want to know would that be cancelled when my H-1 is stamped? Thank u all.

H1B stamping @ US embassy New Delhi (221g-white slip).
Please help regarding my situation
I attended interview on Feb 26 2018 at New Delhi US Embassy. VO gave me two white slips and asked me to email the documents. I emailed the documents on Feb 28 2018 and received a confirmation of the same.
My Concerns are
1) When I checked the CEAC website (March 1-March13), I saw the message-- "Passport is still with Embassy/Consulate". BUT..
after March 13 2018 the CEAC website shows-- "No update available for the passport no. you have submitted"
When I email [email protected]-- I am getting the message (since March1-present) --"there is no status update available".
2) When I track my DS-160 confirmation no./Case No. on the CEAC website it still shows last updated on Feb 26 2018 and under administrative processing.
3) When I called the VFS helpdesk, they are saying, follow the guidelines stated in the autogenerated Email on document submission by the US Embassy.
Can anyone of please help me regarding the processing time. This is my 4th week running. My passport is with the Embassy since the day of the interview.

My prime vendor(XYZ) bids projects and implements at clients location (EVC Model). I have been working for the client since 2015. Recently i changed my employer from A to B both Implementation partner and Client is same.
During my interview, he was asking more about why you changed your employer and how do you know about Petitioner, What is the role of XYZ. Education/specialization..etc.

H1b Extension Stampin- BSC Computers
Hi All,
I am travelling to India for stamping on April 4th. My current Visa Stamped till April 12th. I have Interview scheduled on 9th and 10th.
My question is are there any rejections for Bachelors (3yeard degree) with computers major? as per the many of the interview questions posted here, they are mostly stressing on masters/bachelors and Computers/ Electronic?
In this situation how much safe is to go for stamping keeping in my my visa is expiring on april 12th. But i have approved i797 till sep 2019. I still have 2 more years out of 6.
Suggestions will greatly helpful.
