Question: For " Not Applicable " things do I need to write as N/A or Not Applicable.

hi all
i have attended visa interview at chennai consulate on 22nd august 07 and was issued 221g blue form asking for somemore documents without ppt.i have dropped the required documents on 17th dec 2007 at hyderabad vfs. it's almost 3 and a half months since i dropped the documents and when i called up chennai consulate they say that it is "under review" can anybody plz tell me what is meant by this and how long will it take????

I have submitted my document in VFS chennai on march 4 . Till now i didn't received any message from them. If i call up to vfs office their response is "Till under process". So can any explain about my cases.How long i have wait .

221G docs submission without passport
Nice to read your experiences. I have a bigger doubt. I got 221G form twice. In the second time they have mentioned that final request.
Also they have mentioned submit docs along with passport.
Now all my docs are ready for submission, but due to some urgent situation, iam on a business trip to other country.
Only becoz of passport my docs submission is getting delayed.
Can anyone please clarify, is it possible to submit all the docs through VFS without passport even though it is marked to include in the 221G form?
So that i can ask them to submit the docs without passport and let the Embassy query for the passport so that once i returned, i can submit the passport and get the stamping.

i appeared in oct 2007 but was able to submit papers only on feb26, Do i need to communicate to consulate? or should i wait for some more time.

Successful H1B Stamping
Hello All,
I have been the regular visitor of this web sites since march 2007.
My H1B visa has been granted by US consulate and I have received my passport with stamped as well on next day. In fact, my visa interview was on 18th of this month.Thank you very much for who have dumped their experiences in this website. My interview was like short 'n' sweet style, everything finished in 20 minutes. I had entered into the US consulate at around 12:05pm and come out at 12.25 pm. It was awesome experience. Visa Officer had not asked me any documents other than B.Tech original degree.
I was asked following questions
Me: Good morning sir (don't know exact time at the moment since my interview time around 12:03)
VO: Good morning
VO: are you going to work in YYYY ?
Me: Yes
VO: Are you B.Tech in Electronics?
Me: yes
VO: How do you know about this company?
Me: One of my friend working over there.
VO: How many employees are there in YYYY (US company)?
Me: 90 employees and it has been established in 1993
VO: experience in current company?
Me: 22 months (total 5+ years)
VO: What is the Project?
Me: Middleware development for xxx and xxx technologies ( at the same time I had shown client letter, but it was not asked by VO).
VO: Show me your B.Tech OD certificate....
me: Given B.tech OD and VO had seen it from top to bottom once and then given back to me.
VO was typing something on the computer for five minutes and meanwhile looking at DS-156 and DS-157.
after 5 minites.......VO told me that issuing my visa.
Me: Thank you very much
my suggestions:
wear formals(no need to wear tie)
Be confident
answer to the question
that's it, sure you will get visa............

Got the courier from VFS on Mar 19th asking passport
submitted the passport on Mar 20th

Got 221(g) Three times
First time interview attend on 16th Nov,2007. Without seeing anything in detail they have given me 221(g) blue. They asked me to drop all the documents through vfs without passport.
They want project description in detail and plus unemployment wage reports for all states(which i dont have at that time). I submitted the same documents on 31st Dec,2007 without passport.
Got second 221(g) on 30th Jan,2008 to submit the unemployment wage reports for each and every employee for all states.Submitted the required document on 22nd Feb, 2008 with passport.
Got third 221(g) on 14th March, 2008 to submit the same document which they have asked in second 221(g). I was very surprised to see that query form. But this time my employeer has given
me the same unemployment wage reports but with the notarized and stamped.Submitted the required document on 26th March,2008 without passport.
This is the story of my H1B. Now i have lost my hope for getting visa.
What is the chance of getting the visa in my case. What they will do if they are not satisfied with the documents. Now i think that they will not send any more query forms. Please people who know more about this case can give suggesitions.
