FTE for Fortune 500 company, new employer. Previous 2 stamping worked in EC model.
Visa expired - less than 12 months ago.
DS160 and registration for visa interview automatically qualifies you for Dropbox ( you can opt for an in person interview)
4th Nov - documents submitted
5th Nov - consulate holiday - deepavali
6th Nov - Ceac status: no status
7th Nov - Ceac status: no status, after 2 p.m changed to application received
8th Nov - Ceac status: after 3 p.m changed to administration processing
9th Nov - weekend
10th Nov - weekend
11th Nov - consulate holiday - veteran's day
12th Nov - Ceac status: after 3 p.m changed to issued
13th Nov - passport ready for pickup.
As many others have mentioned in this forum, if you have good paperwork then you don't have to worry.
Check status post 3 p.m.

H1B renewal drop box- Chennai
Hi
I had my drop box for my H1 on nov 5th in Chennai . Until today the status shows “ Your passport is still with US Embassy/consulate”. Any body gone thru the same where there is no status change for more than a week now. I checked the CEAc website and there the status shows Applicaiton revived date as Nov 8th and last update date also as NOv 8th. Should we email the embassy . Not sure how to proceed . Can someone please share the is embassy email id

H1B Dropbox Administrative Processing
I submitted my documents at New Delhi dropbox center on Oct 15. Application status changed to Administrative Processing on Oct 16. It has been the same since then. No update. Case Last Update date is Oct 30th. I was hopeful that visa would be issued couple of days after that. But it's been more than 2 weeks now. Emailed the embassy last week. They mentioned that application refused under 221g and is under processing. Anyone else had the same experience? Was hopeful that this generally gets resolved within 3-4 weeks as mentioned by lot of other people. But no luck. Any help/guidance is appreciated.

Interview lasted 3 minutes. Asked questions about my job responsibilities, company and client (i am a tech consultant at a Big 4).
VO said Visa is approved.
Status changed to Administrative processing on 11/08 and it remains the same on 11/13.

H1B Mumbai - VO approved but status in Administrative Processing
Here's some background: MS in US, OPT and STEM OPT from Sept 2014 to Oct 2016.
Worked with 3 employers since and joined most recent employer 11 months ago.
This was my first time getting H1 stamped.

VO: Give me your I-797
Me: Handed the original papers
VO: (Looking through all passport pages) Did you have H1B before or all visas were L1?

221g white slip for H1B
Please help me :
My experience..
On time at the interview the VO asked me the client details, I have provided him. Then he entered something in the system and went back and took my I-129 and client letter and he scanned my 2 documents.
And he gave White slip he checked first and second boxes.
Yesterday i received call from consulate asking all the details about the client, I have provided all in detail. And she asked me to send me LCA and client letter i forwarded all those required document to the given mail id i.e; [email protected].
I am really so tensed what's the process and is there any possibility of approval.
Please help in this for answer's.

This was my fifth stamping and my first dropbox experience, I am happy that eventually I got the visa, but it was a bad experience and I ended up rescheduling my flights.
