Hi All,
I had an interview on 5th Oct.
Answered all questions confidently and but given blue slip and retain the passport.
The visa officer said there is no issue from your side , we need time to prcess , it should not take more than a week. I told him that i have return tickets on 26th Oct but He was quite positive that before that you will get.
Till 19th Oct Passport status was "Still with Embassy"
on 22nd Oct it gets changed to "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted"
It is still in Administrative Processing.
What to do now?

Just one advice to people reading this thread and forum, you should always consider in what situation people are posting here. Most people should not have any hurdle getting H1B visa stamped. The bad experience you read here are extremely rare. People who got through this process smoothly would not bother to share their experience here so most likely you will read bad experiences here, which you should consider to only learn about worst could happen but never should stress you out.
If you are genuine high skilled worker under special occupation you will be smart enough to not stress out of this whole procedure.

221g H1B Chennai - How long it takes now?

I had interview in Chennai on Oct 12th 2018, and interviewer asked some basic questions and asked for End-client letter and W2 forms...which i provided.. Asked me to wait for some time and returned the passport and other documents saying, they need some more time and it's in 221g administrative processing.
1. May i know if anyone had similar kind of situation (221g --> Chennai --> Returned the passport)
Did anyone experienced the above situation in the past or present? If yes, how long it took to ask you to submit the passports? What was the results?
2. What is the current waiting time for 221g in Chennai as per Oct-12th-2018 interview?

21- Sep: I went to meet interview at SG US Consular office.
Officer was asking questions and gave an answer. Lastly, he asked my project supporting papers which is not along with me.
1-Oct: I have collected all docs according to 221(g) light red color paper list from my US office and submitted to the consular office. After that consular office officer received my all docs and requested to make list chronologically as per list. I have passed to her and advised, they will do verification and will take time one/two weeks and return back my passport.
18-Oct: today is 13 working days are going on.
Please, senior share your experience.

However, its been a week and yet there has been no update in the online status it still reads administrative processing with the last update date being my visa interview date. I was given no 221g form. I was given a pamplet with notice to collect the passport in 3-5 days. Has anyone had similar experience. Any help will be appreciated.

Question about H1B Stamping

I wanted to know what is the latest time on a Sunday a bio-metric (finger printing) appointment can be taken. The website says 5 pm but would like to understand what is the latest slot that they provide. I land in Mumbai at 2 pm on Sunday so want to check if I can make it on time for VAC appointment.
Secondly, once the interview is done, how long it takes in general for your passports to be delivered to your preferred pickup location? I will be appearing at MUMBAI consulate and pick up location would be Kolhapur.
Any prior experience will help me to plan my visa dates.

221(g)- Chennai
I had my H1B interview at Chennai consulate on Oct 12, the V.O asked some basic questions and asked for the documents(Lca,1797, petition docs) then he handed over me a yellow slip and asked me to wait. After 2 hours I was called to another room and an Indian lady came and asked my project docs and client location photographs. After 10 minutes I again called to first counter where I had the interview with V.O. He handed over my passport along with a blue slip with "your application is refused for administrative processing" option checked. They mentioned a case number top of it. I tried to track this number in "https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=q/FgeJVmEHr4rG/XfVdaZw==" in this site. But it did not return any data.
Guys Please help me. I have few doubts,
On which site I can track my case and what is this administrative processing? Is this a rejection?
