Question regarding DS160 location and Interview location
My petition was under Hyderabad consulate, DS160 also have Hyderabad but Visa Interview scheduled at Chennai consulate.
My Interview is scheduled for 11th June 2018.
Will this be an issue and if Yes, what can be done.

H1 B Stamping concern
Hi All
My H1-B petition is filed on an EC model. My vendor however is decent big firm that has internal projects as well. I work from my Vendor location most part of my job, and I intended to answer my petition strictly based on my petition supporting the EC model.
However, my resume does have a mention of the end client? Who i dont work for anymore.
Is that something a cause of concern? And if someone could help me with any supporting answer to make it generic and support my resume?
Just additional info, the product my vendor builds internally is used across almost all banks. If that's helpful - is there a way to answer the question about my end client's mention on my resume -and make it generic so I don't need to provide the client letter.

H1B refusal 221G
Hi All,
I attended visa interview today (June 5, 2018) at Vancouver. I was asked very basic questions. I am on EVC model but she told Visa is going for Administrative processing. She asked if I need the passport as it might take 1-2 weeks. I told her to keep it wiht the consulate.
I was not given a Case number. I was given a paper that says "Your Visa is refused for administrative processing. We cannot estimate how long the administrative process will take place. If you do not receive any update within 60 days, please contact us".
I was not given any slip as to what documentation is required.
Anybody knows what this means. Does this mean my petiton is sent to USCIS again. I am stuck at Vancouver. anyone on the same boat?

H1B dropbox EVC model
Hi All,
After reading the experiences for dropbox in this forum, I was well prepared for my H1 VISA Stamping after a gap of 3.5 years. This was the first time dropbox for me at Pune location. Being in EVC model, I was highly skeptical and a bit scared to be honest considering many unfavorable outcomes in the past for my friends but decided to take the risk anyways... Here is my detailed timeline for dropbox. My Visa was expired in May 2017 so I only had 3 days to submit the docs to be dropbox eligible as I arrived in Pune on 25th.
05/29: Submitted docs @ pune location.
05/30: Status updated to "No Status"
05/31: Status updated as "Application Received"
05/31: Status updated to "Administrative Processing" in afternoon. VFS Passport: Passport is still with US Embassy/Consulate
06/01: CEAC Website showed Administrative Processing, VFS Passport: Passport is still with US Embassy/Consulate
06/02 CEAC Website showed Administrative Processing, VFS Passport: Passport is still with US Embassy/Consulate
06/03: CEAC Website showed Administrative Processing, VFS Passport: Passport is still with US Embassy/Consulate

I am relieved that it is issued and it did not take a turn for the unexpected! I was starting to get worried from yesterday but happy that now the ordeal has ended. So guys who are in EVC, the key is to be patient and be ready with all the docs. My petition also had my name incorrect but hopefully the consulate treated it as a typo. Hopefully this will help someone still on the fences.

I work on IBM MW technologies like DataPower, IIB, MQ, MB. Please let me know if you need any more info.

2. Copy of cost analysis of your software products.
3. Copy of market analysis of your final software products.

I would like to share my situation before going for fresh H1B stamping on June 06 2018.I'm a employer of company "ABC" in India. Back in 2017 I was selected through lottery and in Nov 2018 I received my approved petition(till 2020) along with Form I-129,I-797-B for my employer's client "XYZ" with location NY,USA.
I did not go for stamping because by the time I received approved petition the work assignment was completed.Now my employer is sending me to new client "EFG" and new location. So my employer filed LCA and amendment, I have LCA original copy and new amendment receipt I-797C(which states "Receipt status, Amount received).
My fresh/first time H1B stamping appointment is scheduled for June 06 2018. Does anybody with above scenario gone for stamping?, Please share your experience or suggestions.

Hi Friends,
I had my first time H1-B VISA stamping in chennai on March 13. Not too many questions asked. Just the basic questions like Client letter, LCA, job duties and employer tax documents were asked
After the interview i was given a blue form with the option " your visa is refused for administrative processing". I haven't seen any update from there on in ceac.state.gov.
I have sent emails to travel docs and chennai consulate and no answer yet. Is there anyone on the same page waiting for VISA more than 60 days? The wait is so frustrating and i am starting to panic now as its been more than 60 days.
Please share your thoughts on this any help or information you can provide will be really appreciated.

ME - Master's in CE
VO - Do you any client, vendor or anything like that?
ME - No. It's a Full-time Employment
VO - What's your salary?
ME - Answered
VO - Have you received the white pamphlet?
ME - Actually No, I haven't got it.
VO - No worries (then he gave me the white pamphlet).
ME - (Thinking my Visa got approved) So how long will it take for me to get my passport back?
VO - When are you traveling?
ME - In two weeks.
VO - You should get it then.
ME - ok Thanks.
VO - Wait. We do have some additional questions for you.
ME - sure, go ahead.
VO - So did you had any gaps during your CPT, opt and all?
ME - Yes and then explained the gaps.
VO - ok, I cannot officially tell you if your Visa is approved, I need to check if you were out of status during your F1 Visa.
