H1B Stamping doubt
Hi All,

I am FTE from IT firm and travelling to a client location for the technical work. I have receive my Visa stamping dates as on 4th and 5th June 2018.

But I have one concern regarding client and location for which my I-129 is approved.
Scenario is-
May 2017- I received a lottery intimation for the visa petition filed for Client 'ABC'
June 2017- receive I-797C- RFE asking for client information.
but as , by the month of June I was moved to another client - 'XYZ' project, my company asked me to submit details for client 'XYZ'
Aug 2017- I received I 797B saying my I-129 is approved.
But now as per the I-129 my client and location is of 'ABC' only. and I didn't get any updated I-129 file with new client and location information which I submitted to resolve RFE.
Feb 2018- I again moved back to previous client 'ABC' project.
April 2018- my company is asking me to file stamping request now under client 'ABC' only as I am now working for same client and also we didn't received any updated I-129 after filling up new client information and location.
and the main thing is- both the client location are not within 50 miles of distance.
May 2018- stamping request approved any got stamping interview dates.

Please tell me will it be any problem while stamping for client 'ABC' and location?
please suggest me whether this was correct process which happened in my case?

I am little worried as if they have information for the both clients which I submitted them while first time at filing of Petition and while resolving RFE, then will they reject my case? what will be the scenario at stamping interview?

Please help me.
Thank you!!

Whether I am out of visa status or not and what are my available options?
I switched from Employer A to Employer B with receipt of acknowledgement of H1B petition filing from company B and my new employer had applied for H1B transfer and extension. My existing work permit was valid till 16th April 2018 while new visa was in premium processing mode. I received RFE on "Not a specialty occupation last month which was responded back and now I have received denial from USCIS. My employer B has given me two option now - 1- Appeal the decision as my skills are niche skills and the appeal decision which may take 6-12 months. 2- Go back to home country and wait 6 months as cooling period and my employer B will apply fresh visa again.
I have my i-94 valid till 11th Aug 2019 and same is mentioned in my passport visa. During entry to US, the immigration officer wrote 16th Apr 2018 on my passport in my entry stamp as my work permit was until 16th Apr 2018. Please suggest when I will be out of status and how much time I have to look for other options. Can my employer file fresh petition with out waiting 6 months?

H4 visa stamoing without H1B getting stamped
Hi,
I came to US in 2011 on L1B visa which was stamped in my home country India, my husband came on L2 visa (stamped in India).
Later my husband converted to H1B visa and after sometime I also converted from L1B to H4 (currently on H4 EAD).

Since 2011 my husband and myself have not travelled to India and thus his H1B and my H4 has never been stamped.

My question is: I'm travelling to India this year with our US born kid, due to work commitments my husband is not travelling with us. Can I go for H4 stamping alone even if my husband's H1B has never got stamped before? Will I face any issues?

Thanks.

H1b no slip 221g
I have submitted my documents through dropbox, called in for a interview.
I have attended my interview some basic questions and the VO asked me to read the US rights pamphlet and told me that I should get my passport back in 2 weeks with 2-3 days of additional processing and I was given a paper with case number on it. I thought my visa was approved but later I see the paper is 221g ,I was not given any slips.
Did anyone has similar experience and how long did it take to get the passport back?
I'm FTE btw

H1 B Stamping concern
Hi All

I have scheduled my H1B Stamping interview in June 2018, I have some questions and concerns I wanted to clarify.

I am employed by company A. I work for Company B, a client of "A", and through "B" - I work on end client "C".

My H1B petition mentions only "B" as my client, and the working location of "B"'s office.
More than 50 percent of time, I work from Company B, however i do travel to the client side "C"'s location, on a monthly basis - once or twice.

Any travel that I do is taken care of Company C, that I receive as an additional expense incurred and appears as "Expense" on my pay slip.

1. Is there a potential concern in mentioning to VO my travel to Client "C"?
2. If I dont mention the travel, my payslips reflect the expenses? Any suggested explanation.

Really appreciate all your help.

Thank you so much in advance.

Help with previous H1B questions while scheduling an appointment
i am going for 1st first time stamping to Mumbai, completed the ds 160 and now scheduling the appointment.

while on next page i see series of questions that are making me sweat, can someone please help if you were in similar situation -

1) Do you have previous h1b visa? -

Case Summary - I got my 1st H1B in 2016 for 1 year, after applying for extension i got denied and applied again in Feb 2018 and recently got approved till end of 2018.
what should my answer be for above question ?

if i select YES for question 1) the next question comes - was your prior visa annotated clearance received or department authorized ? - what should be the answer for this question- (YES/NO)

if i select No for question 1) the next question comes " have you ever been refused h1b visa before?

--- what should be my answer for this if my extension was denied in 2017 and i re-applied the extension in 2018 to get approved for 6 months.
--- Answer should be (YES/NO)

-------when selected NO for this question - i get next question "Did your most recent application for a H-1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee) result in you being issued the visa?"
---- YES i assume ?

-------when selected yes for above question - i get next question "Is your previous H-1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee) still valid?"
---- NO i assume ?

---- When selected NO for above question - i get next question " Did your previous H-1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee) expire within the last 12 months?"
-----NO i assume?

The end.

while sweating over this, i realized i forgot to mention the refused visa on DS 160, will this be a problem ?

--- Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa, or been refused admission to
the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the
port of entry? - my answer this was NO

Suggestion for first time H1B visa stamping
After reading almost all the recent visa interview experience,I am really scared for going for my 1st H1B stamping.
I have very differenr case then what I read on almost all recent experience.

My H1B got picked up when I was on CPT with X company and later on I got laid off from X company and also get the RFE
on my H1B.
Meanwhile I also applied for the OPT to be on safe side and got offer letter from Y company
and joined the company on my OPT and solved the RFE as well and got the approval of H1B.
Then later on put the H1B transfer application, then again got the RFE abd somehow managed to solve that RFE.
Now its time to go for the visa stamping.

Let me know if anybody has any suggesstion or advice to share.

Also, which place should be good for the stamping
India(Home country) or Canada?
