H1B Visa - Embassy returned the petition to revoke after 221g
Hi Team,

Consulate: New Delhi, India

I went for the visa interview on 10th Aug 2017. Since my client was different from the one in the petition, hence they gave me 221g to submit additional documents namely:
1. Complete petition, LCA and cover letter
2. End client letter
3. Itinerary of services

I provided them all the documents except End client letter by September 18, and the end client letter was shared on 13th Nov 2017.
Whenever I enquired, I used to get a standard reply as: Its in progress with embassy and will let you know if we need something from you. Just last week, i got the below reply :

"You applied at the U.S.Embassy in New Delhi on 10Aug 2017. Based on the documents you submitted and the information elicited in your interview with a consular officer, you were determined ineligible for an H1B work visa. Your petition was returned to the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) on 24Jan 2018. Once KCC receives a petition, it is returned to the approving U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office for review and possible revocation. At this point, USCIS can either reaffirm the petition or issue a notice of intent to revoke it. If the petition is reaffirmed, the Department of State will continue processing the case. Please direct all your future inquiries to the approving USCIS office.

Thank you!"

Does this mean, its the end of the road to my aspirations for H1B or there is still any chance for this?
Anything I can do now for this.. Please help urgently as I have waited for more than 2 years for this(the entire process).

2 docs were asked in 221g, received email after 75 days to submit 2 more docs
Hi All

This is my first H1 B stamping . New Delhi Consulate
I received 221g initially on 28th Nov asking for two docs. The employer submitted both docs on 13th Dec 2017.
I received next email from [email protected] on 16th Feb 2018 to submit 2 more docs.
My question is:
Has anyone experienced the same ?
Will it again take 60-90 days from this doc submission ?

Any inputs are highly appreciated.

H1B /Green Card
I am working on my STEM OPT which is going to expire in August 2019. by the time my F1 visa is also going to expire in May 2019. My company has filed my H1 last year in 2017 but it wasn't picked up in the lottery.
I recently got married in December 2017 and my wife is a permanent resident, she obtained her green card in July 2017.
According to the resources we have found online, it will take me around 2-2.5 years to get a green card. So we are planning to ask my company to file my H1B this year also and meanwhile, we will file my green card on the bases of our marriage.
However, I really want to change my job ASAP.
What would be the best way I can maintain my visa and employment status?

Need help - H1b extension stamping - Delhi Consulate April
Hello, I am traveling to India after 5 years to get my h1b extension stamping.
I have been in the USA for 17 years and on H1b since 2005.
I have previously traveled to India (3 times), and Mexico 2 times for the previous stampings.
I am a bit concerned seeing all the posts about 221g slips and people being stuck for over 100 days.
I have booked my India ticket for 7 April have have scheduled the appointments for Biometrics for 9th April and OFC 10th April.
My previous visa stamp has expired in 2016 from the previous employer, and in 2017 Jan i joined another company. I work for a very large reputable company and the end client is a federal govt. agency. MY role is of a PM and i also have a letter from the federal govt. client on their letter head stating my roles and responsibilities.
My questions - has anyone faced issues in this situation? my new h1b approval is till feb 2021, and since i have not traveled for so long, i wanted to get the stamping done, but i am getting concerned that most everyone has had 221g admin processing cases.
I have all the paperwork needed (i129, h1b original, paystubs, end client letter, employer documents - offer letter, another letter with job and duties, resume, US College degree, past employer letters, all h1b petitions till dates, tax returns from all previous years). I have booked the tickets for India from April 7 - May 1. I would like to understand should i be worried or change my plans to not get the stamping?
please help
thanks,
Neha

Hi,

I have immense gratitude to the members of this community. Because of you i was able to prepare for the best and worse case scenario.

I got my H1B approved without change of status as I travelled out of the country during my RFE.

After my approval notice, i immediately travelled to Chennai for stamping.

Here is the timeline:
5th Feb 2018 OFC
7th Feb 2018 Interview
15th Feb status changed to Issued
15th Feb evening, got email that passport is delivered and I collected it on the same day.

OFC Process:
I reached 15 min before my appointment.

Carry the required documents in a transparent folder.

H1 + H4 Dropbox Mumbai
Hello,

This forum has been useful to me. Thought of sharing my experience as well.

I was prepared for delay but aggressive to avoid any delay from my side.
First of all, I had all original documents with me and copies scanned so that I can print if required.

Here is my timeline :-
Landed in Mumbai from USA Feb 8th early morning and submitted documents at Dropbox at 2 for me and wife.
Feb 9th status changed to application received and administrative processing in evening.
Nothing over weekend.
Feb 12th visa status same and passport returned at 4.
Feb 13th went at 10 to pick up passport. Had light green slip with tickmark for fingerprint verification. No visa for both of us. No slip for wife. That caused some trouble later. Better to check when you take passport - it should have slip or visa. Fingerprint timing was 10:30 to 11 on any working day. Went staright to consulate.
At consulate - they didn't let my wife in at first. I went in by taking both our passports. When I reached at the counters told about wife. They checked in their system and then came with me to bring my wife back in.
We both gave fingerprints and then submitted passports.
Feb 14th afternoon my status changed to issued. Didn't change for wife was bit concerned.
Feb 15th changed to issued for wife.
Totally 8 days for my case - I feel my case should be simplest - mine was 3rd H1 stamping in Mumbai. 2nd for same employer. Same job role. Same salary - well above average. Employer and Client model. Have contract between employer and Client with specificaly my name. Wife 2nd H4 stamping. Works in IT at state government with EAD.

Good luck all. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Regarding stamping
Hi Everyone,

After long wait finally I got approval. I am planning to attend visa interview in Delhi embassy.

My questions are :

My first visa stamped on 2016. I have stayed in US for 8 months and later I have transferred to another employer after RFE my visa got denied in the meanwhile my previous employer revoked my Visa. All Doors closed and I came back to India. My good luck immediately I have selected in lottery now going for visa interview.

1) Will I face any typical questions from VO on this? if Yes please tell me how to handle this situation?
2) What is the approval ratio in Delhi Embassy?

Please through some light on this. Thank you every one.
