My son is working as associate scientist... got H1b approved for second time same office. Came to India for holidays. Attend interview on jan4.. since biotech student TAL administration process is must. It is 23 days. No updates. He is 65k . Will he get stamping??? I am really tension.. pls give reply.

Thanks for every one's time in posting your experience which helped me prepare for my first time H1B Stamping at Hyderabad on 22nd of Jan 2018 .
I work for a CMM-5 Service based organization . Myself ( H1B ) , Spouse ( H4 ) and child ( H4 - 1 year and 7 Months ) were together . This is how the interview discussion went on , It hardly lasted 3 minutes .
We : Initially greeted VO - Good Morning Sir , How are you doing Today .
VO : Good , How are you doing ?
We - Good ,Thanks !
VO : Scanned our passports ( DS ) , asked me - DO you work with "ZZZ" company ?
Me : That is correct Sir .
VO : Does it have end clients ?

We were prepared enough and answered everything confidently . I had my B1 travel history previously with about four short trips to 6 different states .
VO did not even asked for my Original I-797B . He was typing ( Or may be Verifying ) all time during the course of our conversation .

Full time visa experience
I am a fulltime employee with an american company, planning to utilize dropoff option (My last stamp with employer has expired) I have been working with current company for more than an year.

Passport/visa status tracking
Hi all,
I was tracking my status of visa/passport in 4 ways
visa : CEAC website
Passport : us travel docs website
Passport : CGI
Passport : [email protected]
The ceac website shows Case status in AP, us travel docs website and CGI website shows passport is still with embassy/consulate However the passport status automated reply said "There is no update available for passport number". I was wondering if someone had this experience or someone can comment as to what this implies. Or am I seeing this considering today is republic day and the consulate is closed?

F1 to H1B Visa Stamping : 221G requiring additional administrative processing
Hi All,
I had my h1b visa interview at hyd on Dec 29th. VO didnt ask many questions, just some generic about my masters and current employer which i answered all fine. she took my passport and gave me a 221G with check marking "your application requires additional administrative processing before final decision can be made". Wasn't asked any documents during the interview or to submit any later. I was told it would take 2-3 days for the processing to complete before they have a decision for me.
Now it's been like 4 weeks already and still under administrative processing ,already had to reschedule my flight once.
Anyone with similar experience like this, any information is really appreciated.

India travel and Remote work possible on H1b???
Hello All,
I have got my amendment petition approved last month and planning to travel to India in 2 months. This is my first H1b. I am working on EVC model .
Due to personal reasons I am looking to stay 3-4 months in India and work from there. My Client approved my request for remote work considering the situation.
Does my stay effect on my stamping or port of entry or any other way? Does anybody gone through same situation? Please let me know If anyone knows anything like what I should know during my travel, do's and don'ts .
I appreciate everyone's suggestions and opinions.
