Company structure
Hello guys,

I have confusion how to explain my company structure to the VO . Please help.

there is a company A in USA which got the project of client B in US. The company A donot have branch in India to hire and run payroll to the employees in India.

SO company A and C(an indian company which also has branch in USA ) agreed to work together on this. Now I am hired by company C for the project of client B which is a company A's project.

Now my H1 was filed by a company D which is a sister company of company A.

How do i explain this to VO?

Currently my employer is looking in to give details. But mean while i am getting questions top of my head how to address this situation.

H1B - Interview waiver program dropbox Submission (Different Petitioner & not travelled to US yet))
Hi All,

Wanted to share my experience of H1B - Interview waiver program drop-box Submission.

While scheduling my interview appointment i got the dropbox submission confirmation at the VFS office (HYD)

In my case i already had H1B visa stamped from my previous employer which i transferred in india with new employer.

When i went to VFS office for the document submission they asked me for following docs:
1. New I-797 approval copy
2. 2 Photographs
3. My Passport
4. Dropbox confirmation letter
5. DS-160 confirmation

Apart from these documents they didn't asked me for any other documents but its good to carry all the docs with you.

They told me that i would be getting my passport in 4-5 days. It hardly took 5-10 mins in submission.

15 July - Docs submitted
20 July - i got Email & SMS that my passport is ready for pickup
21 July - I collected my passport and got the new visa with new employer, earlier H1B visa was cancelled by the consulate.

Hope this experience would help other folks.
Ref: Please check your case status once u submit ur docs, Enter ur DS-160 confirmation number.

H1B Cap Exempt
Hello Sir/Friends,

I had my H1B approved in Oct-2007 and it expired in Oct-2010. I have not worked on H1B till now. Given the current date July-2015, am i Cap exempt and can a new employer file a H1-B for me under cap exempt?

If Yes - how ? I would also like to understand the general rule for cap exempt around the 6 years eligibility.
If NO - Why ? I would also like to understand the general rule for cap exempt around the 6 years eligibility.

Thank you in very much in advance.

h1b visa stamping administrative processing since may 20th 2015
Hi,

I work for a mechanical company in the US. I had my h1b visa stamping interview on May 20th 2015 at Amsterdam.
VO asked me to submit additional docs that I submitted and my status got updated on June 1st but since then my visa is in AP.
So instead of waiting in Amsterdam, I traveled to India.
Its been 54 days .
Has anyone got their visas approved who applied during this timeframe or after June 9th and who had their case in AP since the interview ....

Please share your experience. Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks
Anand

Interview Waiver eligibility - Not traveled to US yet & Different petitioner
Hello,

I have a valid H1b visa stamped on my passport from my previous employer/petitioner. I am still in India and not travelled to US so far. Now I have a new I-797 from a new employer/petitioner. Do I qualify for the Interview Waiver program?

The questions asked on website do not include a question about whether the petitioner is the same or not. This is the reason I wanted to confirm. Following are my answers to the questions asked on this website:

Do you have a previous H-1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee)?
Yes

Were you denied any kind of U.S. visa after your most recent U.S. visa was issued?
No

Is your previous H-1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee) still valid?
Yes

Was your most recent H-1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee) issued in India after January 1, 2008?
Yes

Can you please clarify if I qualify for the Interview Waiver program? And what is the next step i need to follow if i qualified for the Interview Waiver program ?
