H1B, H4 Visa

I had attended the interview at HYD on 31st DEC and OFC DEC 18th DEC.

ME: Gud morning madam, how r u doing?
Vo.Can u pass the passport.
Me :Passed
VO:What is the purpose of visit
ME:Emplacement in the USA.
VO:Who is your petitioner
ME:Answered.
VO:Are you going to work at client location
ME: NO, in house project
VO:Is there any products by your employer
ME: Yes
VO: how many employes does your employer ha?
ME: Answered
VO: Current company
ME: Answered
VO: Can please provide,LCA,I129,Project document.
ME: provided.
VO: wait in the lobby?
ME: waited for 2 hours
Next called be to another counter. The Indian asked weather your going to work at employer location or client YYYY .
ME: I have said i am going to work for in house.

He told to wait in lobby . Waited another 45 min

VO: called once again. She told sorry for delay and started in typing in sys for 2 min and said again to sit in lobby .

VO: its about 1.30 she called once again and told we want to research on the company. its new?
She had kept the Passport with her and they did not given any form to track status.

Please help me on this. Did anyone faced the similar issues.

on 30th DEC, OFC interview happened very fast and they had asked to carry 2 photographs along with supporting documents.

on the BIG day 31st DEC at 9:30 AM.

   VO: Scanned the passport and looking at the system. She started asking the question to me
  VO: who is your employer
 ME: ANSWERED
VO: She did not hear clearly and asked me again.
ME: Answered slowly.
VO: what is your salary?
ME: Answered
VO: what is highest degree?
Me: Answered
VO: where did you completed degree?
ME: Answered
VO: Asked do you have rights in USA form with you?
ME: Yes
VO: who is your client?
ME: In-house project.
VO: Can you share your project documents?
ME: passed on ( I have only 1 documents with few pages so she asked only this much. Said YES)
VO: Can I have your I797 and LCA?
ME: Given.
VO: She went inside with documents and asked me to wait at hall.
ME: Sure,

After 1 hr they called me with my name and ask me to wait at the counter where I gave interview first time.
VO returned my documents.
VO: have you applied single?
ME: YES.
VO: Scanned the passport again and said the golden words "VISA approved"
ME: Thanks and Happy New year in adavance.
VO: Thanks and same to you.

Hello guys, i am sharing my H1-B visa stamping experience which held in chennai US Consulate.

My appoint was scheduled at 11:30 AM 31st Dec and BIO metric was on 30th Dec at 4:30PM.

BIO metric experience:-
I went at around 4:00 PM and I could see the queue for 3:30 slot and 4 PM slot. I thought it might get late for us, but i got a chance to enter at around 5Pm and the whole process was done in say 15 mins.

You can take mobile phones and wallet to this office, only thing is that you need to switch off your mobiles after entering the building premises.
Imp Point :- After taking the bio metric and photo, the guy in the counter asked to carry 2 passport size photographs as there is some problem in the system and he is not able to upload. This is ridiculous, as they have
clearly mentioned that photo will be taken at ASE, on the safer side i had carried the photographs after reading some of the blogs here, else I would have struggled to get the photographs in a different city.

Key points :- Do carry passport size photographs on the safer side, they should be of specification as mentioned in the website.

And the Big day arrived.. Dec 31st Visa interview day.

I went to the consulate office at around 11 and i could see very long queues...

Once we entered the building after the security checks and all we were asked to give the bio metric once again and also they scanned our photographs.

Then It was my turn... here is the conversation ....

VO :- Which company you are going to work for
Me :- YYYY company sir

VO :- Typed something in the system... Is it new company?
Me :- No,its established in 2006

VO :- How many employees work for that company
Me :- YY s

VO :- Who is your client?
Me :- XXYY

VO :- will you be working at client's location or your employers location.
Me :- My petiotiner's location.

VO :- What will be your salary per annum
Me :- AAA $

VO :- How did you get to know about this job opportunity
Me :- Answered

VO :- Project document please
Me :- Passed it... I had only project plan. Luckily he didn't ask for more.

VO :- I need to take copy of your I-797B as your passport is not attached to the petition.
I guess this is because I had renewed my passport after applying the petition.

VO :- You can consider the visa to be conditionally approved.
He took the photocopy and my new passport and put a rubber band around it and said you will get to know the final status by evening.

VO :- As a non-immegrant you will have certain rights in US.. please go through them.

At the end of the day my status is still “adminstrative processing”. Any body can comment what are the chances

Hi, I have attended Visa Interview visa in December in Chennai. They have issued a blue slip- with a Check mark of Additional Admin Processing should be Done. after a week I got a mail asking me to collect documents in which there is another slip asking me to Submit the Project Documentation. From the Blogs I came to know that there will be some format for submitting the Documentation,Can anyone of you please....please let me know the Project Format.

I am planning to go for US H1b visa Stamping in Jan 2015 in Matamoros, MX. Do I need mexican visiting visa to travel there?

If I dont need a visa how long can I stay in Matamoros, MX with the permit given at the border ??

Went to interview for stamping H1 this morning.

VO : You are here for H1B
Me : Yes
VO : Is this an extension?
Me : Yes
VO : What do you do for your company
Me : Explained what I do .
VO : What is your salary
Me : Told him the amount.
VO : We have a system glitch , approving your visa conditionally, if we have any questions we will email you. Thank you.

Am not sure what that means? Anyone who attended the interview in Chennai on 12/29 , did you get a similar response?

I recieved a 221g (whilte slip) with out any document request. Subsequently on follow up through email, Hyd Consulate reported that they sent a documentation request to the client and awaiting their response.
 
It seems to me, the client has missed this request and hence was unable to respond
 
Please let me know how to proceed further.
 
Should I personally request the Hyd consulate again to resend the documentation request or should my client or my employer make the request.
 
Also, Kindly let me know weather the response time would be extended after making the request.

Sept 4 - OFC
Sept 8 - Interview

Scheduled at morning 8, My slot came at 9:00 O Clock VO, asked basic questions,

1. Who is the Petitioner
2. What Salary ?
3. Client name ?
4. What Location client located ?
5. Presently where are you working ?

(new job My Petitioner is a Consultant and my client is a consultant and also having in-house projects)

when vo heard about my client name xyz.. then she has done some research on the system and said that it is not your client it is a consultancy she repeated twice..

Then she told you belong to a such a good company why do you want to go to a small consultant ... then she has taken all the documents and asked me to wait in the lobby we will call you, ( i was pretty confident as everything iam having a genuine papers )

at around 12:30 Indian vo called me, and started firing all set of questions at me,

1. How do you know Petitioner ?
2. Did u pay for the visa ?
3. what is the project ?
4. where are you working role etc..

i was answering ... she told that my petitioner is a consultant so there is no guarantee of the project.
almost 1 hour she interrogated me in the room, as petitioner is a small consultancy ( 3 Employees) she was telling me to withdraw the application,she asked me about the project document, i told my employer dint provide me that. she was asking how do come to know about this petitioner etc... i said everything is genuine... she was having a doubt about present employment she asked my present id card previous Company Offer/relieving letters i have given everything . after some time she went inside and bought 221g Paper she has written a case and said, your case has to go necessary administrative processing if anything required we will call you ? do you require project document she said yes if you get from the employer mail us she has given me the email id [email protected] i left after that

on September 17th They called me, and was asking me to attend the interview ? i asked what sort of documents do i need to bring ? she told

1. project document
2. Client company projects etc....

.. then i said i requested my employer he will mail me within 2 days then she told me no need to come for interview just mail the docs.?

I Mailed them Project document, Client Company projects and the list of people of employer working at client place
then after that no update, again they called me on Nov 4th, asking me to send some agreement letters between client and there end clients, i mailed them on Nov 13th 2014

they called me on Nov 20th and asked me to come for the interview again on Nov 21.
I went to the interview, Indian vo called me again to the interrogation room and was telling. we have verified all the documents, project , service letters etc.. we got some derogatory information that there is no project, Project document is fake, i said no mam it's a genuine one, Indian vo was saying anyone can create a project document. All service agreements letters that we have seen is like a body shopping one.. consultant-> consultant-> consultant. so she was asking me to withdraw the application. i said no ? then she was saying is the petitioner a relative to you ? how do you know him ? you are trusting the petitioner ? and not trusting us ? we are telling after getting derogatory information we all vo's decided and called to tell, you have impact you in future... i was totally shocked and surprised at the Indian VO.she frightening me to withdraw the application, i was very firm.. my heart was beating what to do ? but i was firm, as i knew company is a genuine one, project is genuine and all the documents what my consultant provided was a genuine one... ( Employer is having a small consultancy with 3 employees established in 2010) when i said no, then Indian vo said OK i will get one paper, you please write and give us after seeing all the derogatory information iam not willing to withdraw the petition. i said OK, then she went inside to bring the paper , my heart was
beating very much what to do ? what to do ? after 5 minutes she came back empty hand and told take the passport as your are not willing to withdraw the application, we will send your petition for revocation ? i said do whatever looks correct to you and it is your duty ? i dint plead or not said anything to her, i just left the place.

when i called the employer, i told what's all happened at the consulate , my employer totally surprised ? no inquiry happened not yet employer nor at client place how can they told inquiry has been done ? my employer told me just if any inquiry happens or request for any documents we will provide the same no need to worry about that.

iam daily checking the ceac website ( as Indian vo told she will send my petition for revocation )at least will change but no change happened since the interview , i mailed to [email protected] but standard reply came application is under administrative processing

here is the status

Sept 8 - Interview

Sept 17th requested documents Sept 19th mailed the documents ( project document, client projects and employees working there )

Nov 4th requested documents Nov 13th mailed the documents ( service agreement letters between the clients asked 6 documents provided the same )

Nov 20th called to attend the interview attended interview Nov 21th
no update since then ?

can some one please help me ? is there any way to track the administrative processing ?

11 Dec: Client replied to Hyd Consulate
15 Dec: Mail received from Hyd Consulate to submit passport
16 Dec: Submitted passport
19 Dec: Visa status issued
22 Dec: Mail received to collect passport

My case is resolved in less than 30days. It depends on Employer & Client how soon they reply to the consulate.

Question to my son: What grade are you studying . Are you exited to go to US.

ME : Answered all the questions.
