My Spouse had appeared for the H4 Interview this morning 7 year Renewal and would like to share the question.

I appeared PAI interview for H1B New on Feb 14th 8:15 AM. I reached emphassy by 7:45 and went inside @ 8 AM itself. Below questions were asked for me.

Yellow Slip 221(g) for H1B visa - Mumbai Consulate
Today I went for the H1B stamping, consulate officer issued the 221(g) Yellow form with the following reason.
“Waiting for petition expiry date correction in consular system”.
Below are the questions asked in the interview.
Role, Company working for, Client & Location.
After the above questions she asked me to give the original I797 petition, on checking this issued the yellow form and also
returned the passport and original I797 petition. In my petition only one year validity is given.
Did any one face the same? what is the time line for these type of cases?

H1B Stamped @ Chennai Consulate
First of all Thanks a ton to Immihelp which helped in getting my passport stamped!!
A brief history of my case:
Though i belonged to one of the Top IT Giant (BEP case) in India.
221G was issued for my previous petition during Oct 2010 and sent back to USCIS for review and received NOIR.
Responded to NOIR during Sep 2011 and USCIS reaffirmed by case on Dec 2011.
Meanwhile my employer filed fresh H1B as premium during Jan 06, 2012 and got approved on Jan 18, 2012.
Received the approved petition on Feb 01, 2012 and i went to interview for the second(premium) petition on Feb 27, 2012
Still i haven't received my previous reaffirmed from USCIS.
As my previous H1B was rejected, so went to US Consulate with little fear!!
After formalities(security check, petition verification and finger print scanning), i was asked to go to Next building for Visa Interview.
Before that Indian officer who verified the DS 160 form, has written PMIS in the DS 160 confirmation page.
Below is the conversation with VO, Mine is a BEP case and second time H1B, as first was rejected:
VO: Asked the documents.
ME: Passed the docs. then said Good Morning!
VO: Good Morning.
VO: For which client you are going to work sir?
ME: ZZZ
VO: What will you do there sir?
ME: ZZZ
VO: Can you show me client letter, sir?
ME: Showed
VO: Gone through and viewed the last page which has signature of client and raised his eyebrows
ME: Am little confused
VO: Whats your onsite salary, sir?
ME: ZZZ
VO: Which location you are travelling sir?
ME: ZZZ
VO: Whats your qualification?
ME: ZZZ
VO: Where?
ME: I didn't understood the question, i repeated my qualification again
VO: Again he asked me, which university?
ME: ZZZ
VO: Have you seen this pamphlet?
ME: Yes. Labor's right, rite?
VO: Yes.
VO: Your Passport will be couriered in a week’s time.
I received my passport on Mar. 08, 2012 (aprox. 11 calendar days) with stamp and there is a delay of more than a week, probably i guess it is due to PIMS verification.

H1b 221(G)
I had my visa interview in chennai on 8th march 2012 and was issued 221(g) stating that the visa officer need time to go through the documents. However in 221(g) no extra docs have been requested.
visa officer also returned my passport, I797, I-129 and LCA and has only retained DS160 and project report. I am very confused as online 221(g) does not show my case status and as visa officer only has my ds160 and company project report.
Please advice whether i should send I797, I-129 and LCA v along with my passports for further processing through VFS????.
