2) Do you work at Client Location or Employer Location?
A) Client Location
3) Who do you report on daily basis?
A) Remember you should not tell Client Mgr. I told Gary and he is my Employee Mgr.
4) Is there only One Vendor between you and your employee or are there any more layers??
A) No Layers. Its Employee, Vendor, Client(EVC) Model.
5) Give me Prime Vendor Letters
A) Given
6) Given me Client Letter
A) Given
7) Do you have a laptop and who gave you?
A) Yes i have it and my employer gave me
8) Does your client mgr know you work for XYZor does he know only prime vendor
A) He knows i work for Silicon
9) Does your employer pay your health insurance and what is it?
A) Yes he pays for it and showed him my Insurance Card.
10) Give me your original H1 copy
A) Given.
11) Show me your W2 forms filed by your employer
A) Showed.
Then the VO verified something in the system and then informed me Visa is Approved.
Be confident and try to have all the documents. Good Luck guys.

Scheduled interview time 8.45am. Entered the consulate @ 8.30am.
Security check done.
Got back the advance submitted documents after verification.
Fingerprinting done after waiting in a long queue.
Shared token as traveling with spouse. Endless wait as too many people for Visa.
Finally the moment arrives.
VO: How long have you been working for ZZZ?
ME: Its a new employment, I will be working as YYY.
VO: What does a YYY do?

ME: No, Presently I am with ZZZ.
VO: You will get your passports couriered in 7 days.
And next moment we were gone.
It lasted 45secs. We had spent 45 hours getting the harmonium file correct with all documents and photocopies.

After your visa is approved & once the passport is delivered to mailing address the status will be changed to below on the VFS site:
Status: Incorrect Waybill number or No Information
Kind of weird status so thought of sharing with you people.

Green slip 221(g)
I got interviewed at Delhi Embassy 0n 19 Dec'11 and was given green slip 221(g).The necessary said documents have been submitted but till date there is no revert.Is there any possibilty of finding the status apart from VFS site.Please guide

I have also faced such s strange situation and got 221 G Greenslip for submitting the client contract.
I did my interview on Feb 15th 2012 and submitted documents on Feb 16th 2012. But till now i didnot know abt the visa status.
I called up to VFS center they said it is not in our hands we need to get info from US embassy. Why US embassy is taking this much time for doing a review i dont know.

If anyone is attending interview at Hyderabad Consulate and wearing spectacles, please carry a photograph without spectacles as well.Else it will add up to another queue for taking a picture without spectacles.

221g from Mumbai consulate on 7th March
Hi All,
I went to mumbai consulate on 7th March for interview... and got 221g.... Saw few rejection so bit nervous
Vo was middle age strange woman...
Me: Good Morning mam..
VO: (No response)
VO: show me your passport..
Me: (Given)
VO: where is your old passport?
Me: ( It was my cancelled passport.. so I was not carrying that with me.... Negative impression started here)
VO: who is your client?
Me: Told
VO: Who is your manager?
Me: Told
VO: How many of your peer are there at onsite?
Me: Told
VO: What is the VISA status of your manager (One of the strange question I never heard about)
Me: I was blank.... I said I know exactly
VO: How long he is there?
ME: I said from last 2 year... bliendly...
VO: whats your highest qualification?
Me: BE(IT)
VO: Duration of course.....
Me: 4 year(Again answewred wrongly by assumption... Actully I have done diploma after 10th...SO i got admission to direct second year engineering... So for me its only 3 year course)

She gave me 221g blue slips by checking list of document I need to submit...
I dont have few document with me like... Client contract... I dont know when I will respond this one..
Anyway,
