My visa was scheduled @8 today at hyderabad .Previously my L1B got rejected in july 2011 .I was tensed to attend today's interview becasue of the past experience
I reached the consulate at 6:30 and waited till 7:45 .After all formalities i was called by the VO at around 8:30.
VO:Good morning
Me:Good morning officer
VO:How are you
Me:Fine sir.How are you ?
VO: I am doing great...So you are from YYYY company
Me: Yes
VO:From when are you working with this company
ME:YY years
VO:Who is your client
ME:ZZ
VO : :) great
VO:What is your position there
ME:Systems Analyst
VO:Do you have a manager there
ME:Yes
VO:Can i see your supporting docuemtns
ME :Sure .and i gave my I-129
VO:So did you visit USA before
ME:No
VO:Due you like hot summer?
ME :) Yes it has already started here .I am used to it(I got his intent by then)
VO:No sir you get ready to face the phoenix summer it is even hotter then hyderabad ..believe me
ME :)
Then the most eagerly waited words came from his mouthe..."Ok sir your visa is approveed have a great trip to phoenix .....
Me:Thanks a lot sir ...have a great weekend
After that i did not turn back until i was out of sight .....
One suggestion ..Keep your docs ready ..go throught your docs thoroghly and answer confidenlty ..Look into the eyes of the VO when you are speaking and always keep a smile on your face ..It will hide your tension

Secondtime H1b stamping Mumbai Consulate 2012
My visa interview was at 7.45 am on 5th march. Below are the questions that were asked during the interview:
This is the 2nd time i am going for stamping and my previous visa expired 2.5 years back.
ME: Good Morning Mam. H R U?
VO (lady): Fine, H R U?
ME: Fine, Thank you.
VO: Can I see ur Passport
ME: Yes
VO: How long u been working with XYZ company & can u tell me about ur job duties at XYZ
ME: .7 months.I am working as a abc & my job duties include........................................
VO: Ok. So whr did u do ur Masters from & what is ur major?
ME: XYZ in CDE
VO: Are u married?
ME: Yes
VO: Do u have any kids
ME: Yes... $ old
VO: What is ur wife doing? & what is her visa status?
ME: She is doing her Master's in CS at XYZ university and she is on F1 visa.
VO: Thank u sire, UR visa has been approved & u should get it in 3 to 4 business days
ME: Thank you & have a good day.
VO: Thank you & u too.
She did not ask me a single document. So to me if you are working for a reputed company as a full time employee, no need to worry about 221G. Personally I did a lot of research regarding 221G. I work for a major aircraft manufacturing company. And all my friend who work for other aircraft companies were given 221G & some of them were stuck for upto 3 months.

H4 visa renewal.
My wife visa expired and it was on company X.
The visa expired in july 2011 and before that i had a job change.So this was actually a renewal with a different company.She went with my kid who is a us citizen.
VO: What is your husbands salary in us?
My wife: Xyz dollars.
VO: For how long were you in usa.
My wife: For past one year.
VO: Is your baby a us citizen?
My wife: yes.
And then he came with golden words your visa is approved.
Points to note is if you have a kid with you ,you can avoid all the queues.
She went in and came out less than 20 minutes/

A) Remember you should not tell Client Mgr. I told Gary and he is my Employee Mgr.
4) Is there only One Vendor between you and your employee or are there any more layers??
A) No Layers. Its Employee, Vendor, Client(EVC) Model.
5) Give me Prime Vendor Letters
A) Given
6) Given me Client Letter
A) Given
7) Do you have a laptop and who gave you?
A) Yes i have it and my employer gave me
8) Does your client mgr know you work for XYZor does he know only prime vendor
A) He knows i work for Silicon
9) Does your employer pay your health insurance and what is it?
A) Yes he pays for it and showed him my Insurance Card.
10) Give me your original H1 copy
A) Given.
11) Show me your W2 forms filed by your employer
A) Showed.
Then the VO verified something in the system and then informed me Visa is Approved.

Fingerprinting done after waiting in a long queue.
Shared token as traveling with spouse. Endless wait as too many people for Visa.
Finally the moment arrives.
