My Interview appointment time is @8:30AM on 14th March, 2012
Here are the questions:
1. Have you traveled to USA before?
2. What is the type of visa?
3. what is the purpose of your previous visit to USA?
4. What is your present company?
5. Is it a new employment for you to work in USA? (Mine is a new employment in USA).
6. Are you recruited directly to US Company?
7. what are your roles and responsibilities?
8. Explain about the project? ( As it is an In house project, the VO asked me some questions related to the project. So, guys please be careful if you are going to work for in house project).
9. Finally, VO said your passport will be delivered to you with in a week time.
I want to tell you is be confident and don't be nervous.

First of all thanks to all who have posted their experiences in immihelp.
I had H1B visa interview on 12th of March at Hyderabad Consulate .
Questions asked were
Who is employer/Petitoner.
Whats the Job Role and Responsibilites.
How much are you making currently in India,
Will you working for client location.
I had travelled on B1 visa earlier. There were quite a few questions on that.
Stay cool and calm. Answers should be brief and precise.
After few minutes VO said you will get the passport in week.Got the passport with visa on 19th of March.

Successfull H1 B @ Hyderabad Consulate
I had my H1b Interview today(19 March). It lasted for over 2 mins. The VO was very cool and always had a smile on his face.
Quiet routine questions were askd and one shld be very confident while answering the VO. Please keep in mind to look at VO and answer. Dont look anywhere else.
questions asked :
1) who is your client
2) whome do you report to
3) what is your highest degree and where did u get the degree.
4) Does you manager work from the same client location as yours
5) Whats your pay
Stay calm n cool. that will get your visa done

NEW DELHI H1B RESTAMPING SUCCESSFUL...EVC MODEL..
Hi All,
I went for my H1B restamping in delhi embassy today ie 16th march,2012 at 10.45.was so scared before coming to india that vacated my apartment,sold car,give most stuffs to people i know and put some basic stuff at my friends place........anyway..got my visa approved...delhi consulate is so crowded with b1/b2 etc stamping people....i think 5-6 h1b stamping people only....i saw 3 greenslips..even talked to couple of people and they said,VO didnt looked the docs he wrote on 221g green slips and they dont know what to do next....anyway..i was lucky...thanks to many people......
i work for a telecom operator company in usa like airtel,idea etc in india from last 4.5 years on EVC model.......here is what vo asked...
1--what u do for ur xxx company--i started saying whatever i have written in my ds160..after 1 minute vo started laughing and me too..beacause of mobile telecom words...anyway i said sorry abt that and keep telling...
2- what ur designation---yyyy
3-how many years for xxx comapny--replied
4-where u will be heading--replied
after this he put my passport and i797 aside and he said very fastly...ur visa is approved and u will get in 5 days...i asked can i pick from vfs and he gave me light green card for vfs info to collect passport ON MONDAY......then i said..only alaska is last state i have to see in usa..i will go this summer for 2 weeks..thanks for visa and he was kind of laughing again....
NO DOCS ASKED...I WAS HAVING A BOG FOLDER WITH ALL THE DOCS...BUT HE DIDNT ASKED ANYTHING...JUST SEEN MY PASSPORT AND I797.....THATS IT......kept my passport and i797...i asked desi consular help guys abt i797..they said ,will get with my passport visa stamped.....
in my opinion..IT guys with EC,EVC has problem.....anyway,be confident when u meet vo and try to talk in there sense of humor and some american jargon....i was lucky enough....need to setup once again in us of a.....

Few things which need to be takencare.
1.Study what your original H1B was filed for and make sure you have supporting documentation for that submitted petition to USCIS . If you have changed location, then you need to make sure the new role is updated with new LCA.
4.Client letters are critical. You need to carry client letters. It has to be on Letter head from the client.
