Got another 221(g) through Blue Dart after dropped documents through VFS
I had attended my H1 B Renewal along with my wife's H4.
I got 221(g) blue form requesting all documents which I already have with me.
I submitted all documents along with mine & my wife's passport from hyderabad VFS.
I got both of our passports back along with another 221(g) after one week requesting my clients's income tax papers for 2008&2009.
Did any one face this kind of situation and what is the delay I may expect if I submit all requested documents through VFS once again ?
Please help me here.
thanks

My appointment is scheduled at 10.00 am. but I reached there around 8.00 am. The security allowed me to go inside.
Intially they checked all the documents and insisted there should be no sealed cover. After the security check they asked me to wait outside the interview room.
At 9 i was alloed to enter interview room.
You need to arrange, Appointment letter, HDFC recipt,Invitation letter/ Petition and company request letter and one passport size photograph.

Counter no 2, 3, 4 used to check the documents. they have taken the documents from me including VISA.

the real interview was taken at counter no 5, 6, 7. but when I went counter no 5 only working. So I have to wait for some more time. around 9.30 and 9.45 counter no 6 and 7 started working...

at around 10.10 I have been called at counter no 5. first my finget prints were taken. then the questions.

1. how long have you been with ###?
2. who is your Client?
3. Where do you work?

then she said your visa is approved. have a nice day ahead and returned the other documents and retained Passport.

I have seen from the same counter lot of rejections are happening.. but remeber that each case is unique. Be confident and answer the questions..

@ anand,

one of my freind got rejected for L1, then applied H1 with same client and end client... he got the visa on Nov 2 and he is currently in US. so don't worry go ahead with your interview.

Huh...finally its my turn now to post my experience.

First of all I would like to Thank all Great ppl who posted their exp. here.

My Appt. was scheduled at 10 AM @ Hyderabad consulate. I reached their by 9:30 AM & got all security checks. As I was with my wife & 4months baby, I got special treatment & was not made to stand in any Q.

1)First thing was security check, where they will check all your belongings & folders that you are carrying. Note; If you are with your baby then remember not to take any of food items except milk bottle. They will allow baby dipers, wipes etc.

2)Then I was guided to counter#4 as I already submitted all my documents 4 days prior to my appointment. Counter Guy was very polite & asked me to show passport for all. He then handed over my documents that I submitted 4 days prior & asked me to move to counter#8 for finger prints.

3)Counter#8, here to I was not made to stand in any Q. They took finger prints for me & my wife only. Then finally I was asked to move inside the room where the visa officer was interviewing.

4)Myself & my wife took deep breath & finally was scheduled for face to face interview with the officer.

Me; Good morning sir
VO: Very Good morning

Me; I produced my Interview letter, passport & DS160 confirmation page

VO: Where are you going sir
Me: Greenbay.

VO: Oh, Greenbay, hmm with smile on face...have you ever been there

Me: Nope, I heard its very cold place
VO: Ya, you cannot wear the clothes you are in now.

Me: With smile, I know sir

VO: Ok, what are you going to do in Greenbay

Me: I will be working for a company xxx

VO: What do xxx do

Me: Explanied xxx business

VO: What you will be actually doing for xxx

Me: I explained my Job/Role & project description

VO: Who will use what you will create in xxx

Me: xxx

VO: Do you have a letter from xxx mentioning any agreement between you & them

Me: I have the documents sir, do you want to take a look

VO: Yes please.

Me: Quickly grabbed the documents & showed him.

VO: He took a look, & finally GOLDEN WORDS!!!

"YOUR VISA IS APPROVED SIR, YOU WILL GET IT VIA COURIER"
