I have applied for H1b visa and I got 221(g) green slip.
I provieded the consulate with required documents and they confirm recieving of it.
Now they've emailed me that my case is in "administrative processing". What does it mean?
Does anybody have successful experience(getting H1b visa after administrative processing)?

I have received 221(g) form 13th nov can any one got visa after 221(g)

Mumbai consulate VISA stamping experience 10th Nov 2008 Monday
Hi all,
This is my VISA expeirence on 10th nov 2008.
A lady VISA officer didn't ask me single document.
Me: May I come in
VO: She gave me permission by her hand direction
Me: Hi….How are you doing today?
VO: Hi I am Fine, What about you?
Me: I am fine and doing well, thank you.
VO: Give me your Token Number
Me: yes mam
VO: What is your education?
Me: BCS & MCA from university of pune.
VO: Is your bachelor degree 3 years?
Me: Yes, It was 3 years full time course.
VO: Where are you working in India?
Me: I am working with …… pvt ltd as a Quality
Analyst
VO: How many years of experience you have?
Me: I have 3 years of experience.
VO: Is the project in house or client based?
Me: It's a product & our company will sale it in
future.
VO: Is your project developed?
Me: No, Its in Design and analysis phase by our
PM & TL
VO: Then why are you going So early in USA?
Me: Though I am a Quality analyst, I have a
major responsibility to maintain the quality
of product. I need to study Requirement
Specifications and design Test Plan, Test
Scenarios, Test cases design.And it related
to first phase of System TestLife Cycle[STLC]
(Finally the golden words came)
VO: Ok Prafull, I am issuing you VISA. Welcome
to USA and have a safe Journey.
VO: She return me original I-797 document and
said please keep this when you will arrive

Successful Stamping at Chennai Consulate

I have attended an interview on 13th Nov, it was just a minute inteview.
Me: Hello Mam, GudMorning!
VO: GudMorning
VO: What is your project
Me: blah, blah (She didnt listen my words)
VO was looking at my present company, past experience and my education qualification which i provided in DS forms. after 30 sec VO said your visa is granted will send your passport thru courier.
Me: Thank you. Have a nice day.
VO: Thank you with smily face.

My Interview time was 7.45am i reached there 7.15am.after appointment and passport checkup i went to inside 7.50AM.then in the document section tooks 15 mins and i was in the interview queue.
I went through BEP company so we have a separate queue.only around 10 ppl in the queue i joined in that queue.then..
VO : GM,How r u ?
Me : Fine thnks,How abt u ?
VO : whr you are working ?.
Me : I am working YYYY company.
VO : Your visa granted ;-)
Me : thnk you
my interview took maximum 1 min only..thnk god.
All the best to everyone...

Got Visa stamped in 3 weeks the day after 221 g issued
Guys,
Whoever got 221g blue slips from chennai they dont need to worry for the delay bcoz i hope my case will give some boost for you
i attended on sept 5th for interview and got 221 g blue
on oct 18th i received the necessary documents from my employer
I submitted those docs on october 21st
I got another courier on october 28th with 221 g blue saying that it requires AAP.Then I thought i can forget about H1 for atleast 3 months as i have seen the past experiences from the people who had AAP
But with in 1 week that is on Nov 5th I got a courier from VFS saying that to send Passport and I AM JUST SHOCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and still in dilemma whether its real or not
I sent my Passport along with DS156 and 157 on Nov 7th and today I got my Passport back with VISA STAMPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So the guys who are in AAPs no need to wait as far as if you people can take my case as they are speeden up the things
If your company is good and documents are genuine then definitely you will get visa and this fact been proved with my case and that to with in 3 weeks
