Hi everyone, i have attended the interview at chennai on 17th August and my visa has been approved.
My suggession to you all is...
Just be confident on whatever you are saying and be
smiley while speaking to the visa officer.
Here is how my interview went.....
me: Good Morning.
vo: good morning.
me: How are you?
vo: i am fine. how are you.
me: fine.
vo: please give me you passport and the folder. (at
the first counter you need to submit the documents
requested by them. they will enter the details into
their system and they will keep all the required
documents in a folder and give it back to you)
me: gave the blue folder given by them at the first
counter.
vo: checked all the applications and passports..
vo: which company are you going to work for in US
me: i am going to work for so and so... located in so and so state...
vo: what will be your role?
me: i am going as a .....(my designation). i do design, developing frameworks for project and coding in so and so technology.
vo: framework for which project?
me: not specific to any project. i write generic frameworks to any project in Java based on the requirements.
vo: which project are you going to work for?
me: told the project name, domain and overview.
vo: who is the client for this project?
me: told the client name.
vo: where are you going to work? at clients location?
me: At .... company not at the clients location.
vo: when did you complete your graduation?
me: i completed my graduation in so and so year and my post graduation in so and so year.
vo: post graduation? you mean masters degree?
me: yeah
vo: oh! thats great. can you show me your masters degree certificates?
me: sure.. gave my Masters degree cert's.
vo: ok. did the company provide you with any other
documents?
me: what kind of documents?
vo: financial documents..
me: yeah. gave the fin. documents provided by my company
... He took some time to check all the documents.....
vo: ok. your visa is approved and you will recieve you passports with in a week in courier.
me: thank you. bye bye.

Obtained H1b visa
Hi all,
I have attended for H1b visa interview in Delhi consulate. Really that is a good experience.
The VO asked about my experience, perspective employee details, my job duties, why i'm willing to change job.
I already have L1 visa but didn't travel to US, so VO asked me like 1. why didn't you travel 2. company XYZ is a good company, why are changing your company(XYZ)?
The main thing is you need to answer with confidence. They will try to make out whether do you know about your comapny? Is that company is good company? etc,
So whatever you answer remember you should know clearly about your job, duties and your perspective company.

Hi All:
I have been in the US as a student and now a full time employee for the past 3 years. My H1B has recently been approved by USCIS however I have to go for my visa stamping to the Mumbai consulate. Could anyone please share there experiences and inform me what docs are required for the same.

1. Since how long are you associated with the current company?
2. Can I see your MCA certificate?
3. Is it a client or an internal project?
4. How many of you are there in the project?
5. Can I see the client letter?
After this the VO said: "Your VISA will be issued and you will get the passport in a few days time"
My observations on why 221(G) is issued or VISA rejected are -
1. A lot of them do not listen to the VO's questions correctly.
2. A lot of them do not understand what the VO is asking and give right answers.
A few sincere suggestion to all the VISA aspirants -
1. Listen properly and carefully to the VO and answer to the point.
2. Be patient in answering.
3. Be clear and loud while answering
4. Be confident.
VO's want to know your information so it depends on how well you answer to their questions and how patient you are. Listening, answering and patience is the key for your VISA approval.
Keep all your documents in order!

plz help me. one of my friend is going to attend h1b visa in the next month. we got one doubt. somebody told that now a days us consulate ask all certificates before interview date. they said that we must submit the certificates before 5 days. if it is right what are the certificates we will produce. any one have idea about this.

Mistake in DS forms
Hi friends,
I had submitted all my docs(221(g)) in VFS office today.But in DS 157,I forgot to write my name in native language.So it was blank.Do you people think that it can create problem?
Actually females are not needed to submit the DS 157 form.But still i submitted as i did on the day of my interview in chennai.The name in native language column is present in DS 157 but not in DS 156.
Can someone tell me will this be a problem in reviewing my case or is it negligible?please help me..mail me at [email protected]

VO: Oh! I see and writes "H1B" in bold letters on the DS 156 form.How long have you been working with ZZZ

VO: Prior to that and how long?
