H4 VISA INTERVIEW ON OCTOBER 13 TH
hi, First i want to thank immihelp.com and all those who have shared their experiences.
I attended my interview on oct 13th, my interview time was 2.15pm but i was allowed to go inside by 4.00pm as the scheduled time got delayed by one and half hours from the morning itslef.Once i went inside,All the required documents are arranged in a folder and sent to the building where interview and finger screening are done, there i have been handed over with my folder.My interview went for just 2 minutes.
ME: (I went over to the vo with smiling face, he said something, but i was not able to get it clearly , so i said )
i passed on my folder and said
GOOD AFTERNOON SIR
vo: smiled (then he checked the documents in folder)
Vo: Wheres your husband? (he went through i-797 and i-129 in folder)
Me: xxxxx
vO: When did you get married? (he saw four of my wedding photos and marriage certificate arranged in folder)
Me: xxxxx
vo: can i have w2 forms
Me: i said my husband started working from january onwards, he is eligible to file his returns by the end
of this year
Vo: can i have paystubs?
Me: i gave all the pay stubs
vo: oh!good
VO: so,u student visa got rejected in xxx year
Me: yes,sir
Vo: I think i have seen you,may be i have interviewd you at that time
Me: i just smiled
V0: do you want to go to school?
Me: no sir, i want to be a homemaker
vO: Why?
ME: smile
Vo: smiled and said you can go now
Me: where sir
Vo: smiled and said u can go home
Me: Thank you sir
prepare all possible questions with supporting documentation, dont feel nervous at any point and just answer all your questions with a smile and give answers in simple way.There is no need to worry if you have all the required documents.

Can Deemed University Grauduate eligible to file H1

This is Akber from Hyderbad, working in Deloitte Touche since last 1 year as an IT operations Analyst and have a 4+ years of relevant experience in IT.
My query is that..I have done my Intermediate (10+2) in the year 1999 and after that I did not continue my eduatin because of financial problem and started my career right after my (10+2). Meantime in the year 2002 I joined in Bharath University of Chennai to conitnue my education and passed B.Com degree in the year 2005.
Now I want to apply for H1 visa but just bothering about my education background since I am gruaduated in 2005 and that is from Deemed University (Distance Course).
Pleast let me know whtr I am eligible to apply for H1 or not.

I have got 221g last two times, this time I have dropped the required documents in VFS drop box two weeks back but still did not got any response from chennai consulate,please let me know is there any way(Website or Phone number) to trak mine status. I have submitted my Passport also. I need it for some urgent purpose.

I have some query here..if some one can helpme out to solve this..it would be apprecaited..plspls clear me my doubt.
My husband went for h1b in jan 2005 and till now no progress..as he got 221g on indian company saying administrative processing required..but no status till now.
Now myself filing l1a blanket thru my company?Problem is whether i can file(L2) dependent visa for my husband on my L1A blanket or not?Whether it will rejected or accepted?as his h1b is still on hold..for administrative processing on 221g..

My consultancy told me to tell project as inhouse. I am not seeing any posting regarding this. Please let me know if anybody went for consulate with inhouse project. I want to confirm that wether they got stamping or postponed with query.

I would to thank and apperciate Immihelp for their commendable work in bringing us all US visa aspirants onto one platform. This website really educates frest visa applicants and a vast information is available on this site, without which most of the us would have had a rough visa experience.
Coming to my situation, I applied for F1 student visa in the year 2001, but was unfortunately denied. Later on I applied 5 times through drop box, but my situation never changed.
Later I applied for UK and secured a student visa.
Im now working for an MNC for the last one year.I got my H1-B petition approved. I will be attending my interview in November.
Now I need all the valuable suggestions from you readers who had a similar kind of situation or almost the same, and how you could succeed the interview. Also, Will my previous rejections affect my present application. Kindly help.
Once again congratulations for all those who secured a visa, and for those who didnt, take it easy..this is not the end of life...better luck next time...
