I went along with my wife and 2 months old baby boy attended interview on 5th November.Our appointment was at 7:30 AM.We reached 15 minutes earlier and they allowed us to enter at around 7:30.Procedures are same as mentioned in previous posts and approximately it took 1 hour for the whole process .

VO Lady: Hi Good morning !! How is your day going ... (she also said a special hello and cheer up with my 10 months old kid)
me: Good morning!!! I am good, thank you.
VO: (Straight away to my wife) How long have you been married?
my wife : We have been married since 1 year and 8 months. Exact date was dd/mmm/yyyy.
VO: What is your background?
my wife: I have completed MCA and currently a housewife.
VO: Please be seated with your kid and take rest while I complete the process with your husband.
my wife : Thank you
VO:(to me) Who is your client in US?
me : XYZ company (with complete expansion of the name)
VO:What is your specialization?
me : I work in a technology which monitor xyz activity.
VO: Excellent !! how long have you been working in the same technology?
me: 6 years
VO: Thats great!! (after some clicks and a minute of waiting ) I am in process of approving your visa... (and thats it ... those words came out ...) 'Your visa is approved'. Stamped the forms and told me to carry the forms while travelling.

It was a cake walk for me... though I had seen 2-3 rejection cases in front of me which increased my heart beat before and after the interview.

L1 - A Functional manager got approved
Hi All,
Thanks to this Forum , it is of great help to the people attending the Interview.
A lot of people insist on the attire , i would not say it is not needed , however i seen many people walking in with Blazers , ties etc .. makes it look odd if you are not able to carry your self. i would say be presentable and dress according to u r comfort.
Here is how my interview went :
Me : Good morning!! Maam
VO : Good morning!! How are you ?
Me : i am fine.
VO : whats your spl. skill set ?
Me : Maam i am sorry if there is any confusion , but i have applied for a Visa in a different category(since i have applied as a L1 - A , i had to correct the office but in a polite manner )
Then she took sometime and then told me , i see it. it a different category.
VO : whats the name of the client ?
Me : told
VO: what would be your role ?
Me : explained it (make sure that your response is crisp)
then came the Golden words!!!

Thanks to this forum. I attended my L1A interview at US Embassy, London (currently Iam on Tier 2 in United Kingdom).
Interview was simple:
VO - What will be your designation?

I reached Chennai on the same day when my biometric was scheduled. One thing to note here is Biometric building is different from US consulate (I thought it might be same, so plan your travel and stay accordingly). My suggestion for Biometric:
1) In Biometric just carry 3 documents – Passport, DS160 confirmation page and Appointment confirmation. – NOTHING else is required (I took every thing to be on safer side)
2) My appointment was at 4:30, I reached at 3:30 and I was out by 4:15 with all for the day done. The point is if you reached early you can leave early.
3) Wear formals, they take photo with finger prints and probably compare photo in PA (not sure but preferred formal)
Now it comes to main interview. It took less than 2 hours to complete the full process. Seams like they just wanted to take my passport for stamping. Got L1 B blanket approved in just couple of questions in PA. Here are the questions:
