Take it easy --l1b approved
1. Do not fake up. VO officers are behavioral science experts, they can make out when you lie.
2. Do not go too early to the visa consulate office, you will be allowed to proceed inside the office only 40 minutes before the appointment time.
3. Ensure you have attached recent photo in your DS160, they will waste your time by taking a new photo of yours if your uploaded photo looks old.
4. When you answer the questions make sure you don't stammer or stutter.
5. Go with a care free attitude. India is an amazing country you won't lose out on anything if your visa gets rejected.
6. Dress up really well. Attire is very very important to cut an impression.

Questions asked to me:
VO Officer:How long have you been for company X?
VO Officer:Just 14 Months of experience?
VO Officer:Who is the client you are associated with?
VO Officer:If you were not associated with them before how is that your company is sure of sending you?
VO Officer: What is that you will be doing for your client xyz?
VO Officer: What does this xyz approach/methodology yield?
VO Officer: How long have you been working on the proprietary tools you just mentioned?
VO Officer: How is this job specialized?
VO Officer: Don't you think your training program was way too elaborate for industry standards?
VO Officer: How long will it take to finish your job in xyz project?

Luck is an excuse for incompetency. Prepare well and you will get through. Be honest. You will get through!

Hi guys..

I had my interview in Chennai consultant on 22nd February 2011 at 11.00am. VO asked only a few questions..

Following are the questions:
Which company does your spouse work for?
How long has your spouse been in USA?
When did you meet your spouse?
How did you meet your spouse?
Can I see some wedding photographs?
Can I see your marriage certificate?

Note:
• Don’t go too early for interview; 30 min before the appointment time is ideal and safe. Depend on the appointment time only they will allow you 2 enter consulate; if you reach early you have 2 wait outside in queue.

• You have to show the appointment and confirmation letter outside the consulate (counter); then they will issue 2 copy of token number( 1 small slip and 1big slip) later you have to give the small slip of token number to document verification person along with other documents and big slip(token number ) you can keep it with you.

• You are not all allowed 2 carry CD and pendrive inside the consulate.; For L2 visa only wedding album is required not CD.

All the procedure b4 interview is so simple… there ll be people 2 help u if there is any confusion..

All the best..!!

I would first like to thanks to this site and the people who shared their experience. It helped me a lot to prepare for the PA.
Below are the Q asked:
Q: Why are you going to USA?
Q: What is your designation and role?
Q: How many associates are there from TCS side at client location?
Q: Why only you?
Q: Your specialization skills?
Q: What will be your salary?
Q: Can’t we provide training to someone at onsite to perform the task?

He was much interested to know about the specific reason, why only I need to go there.
