First of all thanks to immihelp.com for maintaining such a great site, Kudos !
All right, here is my experiance. I was with my wife for L1B and L2 renewal. Interview lasted literally less than 1 minute. Here is how it went.
Q: Which company do you work for?
A: -
Q: What do you do there?
A: Just answered my title and specialization.
Asked the lady if she wanted me to describe my job duties. She considered it for a second and then giggled and said that she is not a computer engineer, so that won't be necessary.
Q: Do you work at - place? (A very well known headquearters for my company)
A: No Madam, I work out of -.
Q: Oh so are you working at a client pace?
A: No Madam, we have a campus in - City.
Q: How long have you worked with you company.
A: - Years.
To my wife:
Q: How long have you been married?
A: -
Q: Do you have any kids?
A: -
Q: What do you do?
A: -
At this time she stamped the documents and said that the visa for both of us were approved.
A word of caution, it seems like the visa rejection rate is VERY high. The counselor rejected visas for everyone in front of me. Every last one of them!
So make sure that you have an iron clad and genuine case.

my sincere thanks to immehelp and the Guys shared their experiences.it helped a lot.I had the interview at 10.15. i reached at 9.30 near the counsolate.
then passed varius security check and submitted the bank draft.
my interview with the visa officer is as naratted.
VO: Good Morning Sir
VO:you are working for which company
VO: what is the employee strength of your company
VO: who is your client
VO: where will you work in US?
VO: where is your company office in US?
VO: what is your designation?
VO: what is your skill set, infa, oracle...?

My interview was scheduled at Chennai at 11:30 AM.
I had to go to the Counter# 24, where a silky haired person was sat. I was the last guy yesterday interviewed by him (probably). He was in little hurry. At counter 23 & 24 two bald headed guys were sat. They are posing a little difficult questions comparitively to others.
I am from one of the top mnc companies.
Below was my discussion with the officer.
VO : How are you sir?
Me : Good, Thank you.
Me : Good Afternoon officer, How are you?
VO : No Reply (in hurry)
VO : So, you are working for xxx(>)company
Me : Yeah.
VO : How long you been working with > company?
Me : 5 years and 4 Months
VO : Who is your client?
Me : xyz( One of the top financial firms)
VO : What are you going to do to xyz
Me : Desing and Develop client application components with my companies proprietary tool ABC.
VO : So, you are going to Design?
Me : Yeah.
VO : Tell me what are the modules you will design?
Me : MMM1 and MMM2.
After this, VO was looking into the system for a while and said the most desired words of the process "Ok we will be sending your Passport in a week"
I said thank you.
Guys and Bothers & Sisters, don't be panic, be confident and put ur trust in the Living GOD JESUS CHRIST. HE would certainly help. because HE says, "Who ever believe in ME, everything works together for good."

i was keeping my spirits high eventhough i hear about the rejection rate... i thought i have gud no of years (4 yrs) as experience... but didnt know what could have went wrong...

Later he gave me back a form checking the option - " the petition could not be clearly approved..... "

Hi all,
First of all an advise.. If you just got your passport renewed and your old passport has all your previous visa's please take both your passports for the interview...Also submit your old passport to the visa officer when you appear for the interview...This was what helped me...

First of all I would like to thanks immhelp and ppl who have shared their experiences....... It helped me a lot
My Interview was scheduled @ on 2 Sep 8.30 AM
Initially was very tensed regarding this... but after seeing lots of happy faces on this site..I got sum wat relax...
I reached there by 7.45 AM.. So I had to wait for almost an hour in the q.. (So it’s better to reach only 15 Min before, if you already know the place)
My no was called @ counter No 5.... The interviewer was the lady near about between 30-35 yrs old....
Following questions were asked to me:-
1) Why you are going to US?
Ans :- I explained her about my project requirement.
2) Explain your project?
Ans :- Since my project is related to the end user ... I explained her all the things with simple example and was putting her in the picture....
She got impressed with it and said it’s interesting!!...started putting the stamps on the paper ... that time only I got clue that I am almost thru the stamping...
3) What’s your total experience with current organization?
Ans - 33 Months
4) Total IT experience?
Ans - 33 Months
5) Which place you are traveling?
Ans :- Answered
6) Whether you would be working at client office or your company office?
Ans :- At client place
7) For how much time duration you will stay in US?
Ans :- 11 Months (As mentioned in my form)
8) What’s your specialization?
Ans :- named about my company’s specific tools and explained the need of these tools
9) Married or single?
Ans :- I said as of now I am single

SO for me it was great experience.. VO was cool and luckily with GODS GRACE everything went well!!!

I answered all question really well according to the docklet I received from USA attorney. But the VO went speechless after the last question and check something in his machine...Finallyy he said those world stopping words..." I am sorry sir, Please ask your employer to file in individual petition"

It was a good experience with my at hyderabad consulate.After BEP documnet check, security checking and crediting cheque .. I have went for biometrics. They have given me a token number after that and asked me to wait.only 2 counters were open and i was sent to one of the counters.
