RFE approved and Appointment booked for interview
Hi,

I have recently got my RFE approved for my L-1B, I have booked consular appointment later this month.

In the DS160, I have mentioned my "Briefly described duties" in simple terms (Kind of 3 sentences), I am wondering should it be a big paragraph or exactly matching the contents with other documents I produced.

The context is short and precise but now I feel was it too short! was that something wrong I have done or is this fine ?

I have my L1 - B Individual scheduled in 2 weeks. My husband is already in US on L1 visa. During interview if I am asked where is your husband working? Will the answer that he is in US affect the chances of getting my visa approved?

L2 for wife
Can anyone please help me in below matter :

I have got my L1B stamped . I need to apply for L2 visa for my wife who is employed here in India. Her employer will not give her NOC for travel to US for even shorter duration .

1) Can anyone help if there any way out for this apart from resignation ?
2) In case she resigns now and apply for interview in next 2-3 weeks , Can that impact her L2 visa approval since they might think that they have intentions to settle down there . ?

Can anyone please help on above points . Thanks .

L1B Approved on 1st Oct 2018 Chennai
Thanks everyone for posts in this forum . This helped a lot in cracking the interview .

L1B questions were the same as mentioned in other posts

Keys to succeed in interview :
Prepare Prepare and Prepare for your questions . Write down questions and answers in notepad and revise them two days prior to interview many times

Can anyone please suggest me that Do I need to wait for my passport before I can apply L2 for my wife ? Or can I simply go ahead and file L2 visa for my wife without waiting for my passport ?

L1 B blanket Approved Chennai
This site was of immense help for me when i was preparing for my Visa. In my office ( Leading American Bank ) apart from main document, every step has to be done by only by me with out any assistance. No immigration team at offshore too. So i had to ask many folks and read many forums before proceeding to each and every process. So for a person like me, this site has been immense help. But negative thing is u will feel the heat if you go through each ones experience. Remember one thing, this is not the end of the road and we can still live a happy life where ever u r. Dont make situation to take control of you. Let me share my experience.

Biometrics : Appointment at 9:15. Reached the venue by 8:15 and to my surprise they let me in. All the process got over with in 15 mins. I could see many folks who came with their family had only one DS160. Remember you need DS160 for each individual.

VO Appointment : Scheduled date at 9:00 AM. I reached the venue by 8:30. They made us to stand in queue and since i had a Kid ( below 5 yrs ) they let me in soon. Guys if you have a kid, pls take them with you. You can skip some serious wait time. The heat too one unbearable. As soon as we stepped in a person asked us to arrange the docs as per L1B blanket norms. 8 pages I129S, 1 page, I797, DS160 confirmation page ( Primary app ), DD. If you are going for L1 B visa, Pls arrange this set at home itself. It may avoid some confusion there. Again we skipped the queue and went directly to get the receipt of DD. Then our finger print scanned and we went directly to main interview. All this process took 15 mins.

VO : Passports Pls ( looked strict and very precise )

Me : GM

VO : Indian Salary

Me : Replied

VO : US Sal ?

Me : Replied ( He was typing something in his PC )

VO : Petitioner

Me : Replied

VO : Role

Me : Answered

VO : Specialised Skill

Me : Replied

VO : See iam not aware of ur process and dont even have an account. So can you pls explain in simple terms on what work you will do in US.

Me : Explain Products i will work on

VO : Looked Convinced and Stamped the docs. I knew he will approve

VO : Kept 1 copy and passports and asked whether all 3 will be travelling.

Me : Yes sir

VO : I have approved your Visa

Me : Thank you

Your company reputation is the key here guys and secondly you salary and the way you present your explanation in interview. I have seen some folks getting rejected as they were not able to explain clearly ( Not sure is it the exact reason ). Be bold as i said before. Dont take situation to take control of you. Coz if you are not good at handling pressure, then you are loosing out urself. All the best guys. Hope this might have helped.
