Hi,
I have received my L1B - individual approval and the intimation of the same has been sent to the Chennai consulate.
However, since, I stay in Mumbai is it possible for me to visit the consulate in Mumbai for my interview or do i have to visit the Chennai Consulate?

Annual Salary is entered in place of Monthly Salary in DS 160
Hey, I have filled annual Salary instead of Monthly Salary in DS - 160. My bio metric is on 13th Aug and Interview is scheduled on 16th Aug.
Is there any way to rectify the mistake in DS-160.

L1 A London
Hello I appeared for the L1A interview on the 2nd August (Me, Spouse, Kid and dependent sisted (B2 cohabitant) in London. We where told visa is approved and we should get it in 4 - 5 working days. Today is the 4th working day and the status on CEAC is still showing "Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application". Am worried :(

L1B Individual - Fraud Detection fee of $500
My L1B Blanket visa was rejected in March 2018. My company applied for an individual petition under premium processing. USCIS issued an RFE to which we responded and eventually got the approval. I have scheduled my visa interview. Do I need to pay the "Fraud Prevention and Detection Fee" again in the consulate? Someone who recently went for an L1B individual interview after the blanket rejection please give some insight here.

I got L1A visa approved last Thursday, does anyone know how long it would be before we get our passports.
It was approved in Chennai.
Status still shows "in the embassy"

Chennai Consulate - Helpful tips
Just had my interview for L1A renewal on August 3, 2018, some helpful tips:
1. The Consulate has completely banned phones and other electronics inside. Earlier, there used to be a booth which provided a a sort of locker. It has been removed. The auto drivers have jumped to 'help' people. They can keep your phone in the STD booth behind the consulate, but they charge INR 300-500, based on your negotiation skills.
2. No need to reach consulate more than 30 mins before the interview time. You will end up standing in the heat (or much worse in rain).
3. Stayed at Courtyard Marriott, which is very close to the consulate. Airport has a metro and Courtyard is the last station. Prefer metro to avoid traffic. Although all entrance are not opened yet, so you will have to cross the road.
4. Ola has a booth at Chennai Airport. Super easy to hail a taxi from Sangeet Restaurant outside the airport where Ola has a dedicated pick up.
5. Chennai Consulate accepts Credit card (Visa and Mastercard only). No need to carry demand draft. No debit cards though.
6. If you are L1 individual, you will get priority over others.
7. They will ask you to prepare 3 bunches of - 8 pages of I129, 1 page I797, stapled. So, prepare in advance to save time.
8. Inside the consulate, First line to verify document, 2nd line to make payment, 3rd line to wait for a free counter. 4th line in front of the consulate.

Background: 1 year and 2 years of experience in American MNC. Going to work to launch product and do R&D at parent org in the US. Caveat: My startup was acquired by MNC, so I mentioned my experience in relevant products was more than the time in company.
Questions asked:

L-1A Individual - 221G Blue Slip
Friends, I must say I am the most unlucky guy on this forum. My L-1A Blanket was denied. Then my company filed L-1A Individual. I got an RFE. I somehow managed to clear the RFE, then I went for Visa Stamping. All the questions were straight forward which I correctly answered. Then out of the Blue, the VO asked for Client Letter. Since Client Letter is not required for L-1A Visas (Intra-company transfer) so my company had not given me the Client Letter. I politely told the VO that client letter was not provided by my company. VO issued me a 221G Blue slip asking me to submit the Client Letter in email and returned my and my dependents passports.
Can anyone advise me if there are any chances for getting the Visa after I send the Client Letter? Did anyone, else got 221G Blue slip for Client Letter for an L-1A Individual Petition? How much time it will take to get a decision after I submit the document? Please explain me the process. Thanks in Advance.
