After receiving new OCI for the first time, should i get the OCI seal in my USA passport? Or can I just travel with my new USA passport and newly received OCI?

VFS New York - Minor OCI Misc Services - No update
I applied for OCI renewal for my son, got VFS acknowledgment on 3/19/2021. Since then there has been no updates and VFS tracking returns as invalid input. I emailed and got a standard response and no information about my application. Anyone in a similar situation?

New Minor OCI - NY Consulate (wait or apply emergency visa)?

Below is the current New OCI minor timeline (NY Consulate):
05-Mar: Application delivered at VFS NY by FEDEX
09-Mar: (VFS) Acknowledgement of package
18-Mar: (VFS) Application verified
26-Mar: Original US passport received back via mail
05-Apr: (VFS) Application submitted to mission for decision making
07-Apr: (GoI) "UNDER-PROCESS" Acknowledgement from Embassy/Consulate

New OCI - Adult under 50 - Chicago
Received by OCI today and below is my overall timeline
2/1 - Dropped package at Fedex
2/2 - Fedex site showed delivered to VFS Chicago
2/4 - VFS acknowledgement via text and email that they recd my application and to check status after 48-72 hours.
2/11 - Text and Email stating VFS has started working on my application.
2/13 - Text and Email stating my application has been forwarded to the embassy for decision making.
2/18 - Received US passport back.

It would have been a completely smooth process for me except on 3/3, I recd a text and email from VFS stating my application was processed at the embassy and in transit back to VFS. But the govt of India website still showed 'Under Process'.
I called VFS on 3/18 about the same and was told to ignore the text and email.

NY CGI OCI
Oci govt site shows OCI card was printed and sent to NY CGI on 3/25 but no update from VFS. Has anyone received oci that was printed after 3/25? I understand there are delays due to COVID but I am trying to understand how much of the delay it is going to be as I have travel plans later this month. I applied on Jan 15. It’s going to be 3 months now. 2 weeks since card was ready in NY CGI.
Mailed and called VFS but standard response.
PRAMIT ticket - no response either.

The Dates are inconsistent as all Printing ,Dispatching from Delhi and Received in Chicago are all same date . How is it possible ?. Why no updates in VFS from 18 the feb when they sent to embassy .

US Passport not received NY
Here is my status:
Application sent :25/02/2021
Application Processed and sent to India Consulate : 12/03/2021
After that it is showing as pending in OCI services check, but I have not received my US passport back from them.
Calling the VFS center / Emailing them have been totally useless, they could not even tell me that the NYC center was impacted by covid.
Anyone in the same boat ? Is there anyway you can escalate the situation ?
