2/8- my package reached SF VFS
2/9- got an e-mail from VFS acknowledging they received my package
2/20- received an e-mail from Fedex saying that I am getting a package this week from VFS
I assume they are sending back my passport? Any idea where I should be in the process? I still am unable to track on VFS website or OCI website.

NEW OCI ADULT NYC
VFS site is showing forwarded to embassy for last two weeks. Govt website is showing no records found. Date tracker is as follows.
1/14/21 - mailed application
1/15/21 - Application delivered at VFS NYC
2/05/21 - Application received and under process notification received. (20 days)
2/06/21 - Application processed and in transit to Embassy/Consulate.( sent on a Saturday)
2/22/21 - No status update on VFS site. Govt website is showing no records found. (used USAN **** )
Can applicants share their experience with similar processing dates and also is it usual for Govt website to show no records found after two weeks. Thx...

I am about to start OCI application for adult as well as minor. Can someone help with the list document that needs notarization ? I read somewhere after uploading the application in government portal , we need to print it and get it notarized, is that true ?

01/04/21 send oci application to Houston 01/05 application received,01/12/21 application processed by VFS global and send to embassy,01/13/21 application reached embassy, 01/16/21 got my US passport back! Since then I didn’t get any notification, I did send them emails but no answer . Don’t no what to do?

Hello everyone,
If anyone could help me with theirs experience it would be a huge help!
I am trying to get hold of Vfs customer service,calling them every 2 days about my oci card status.
I see the status on government website on Jan 29th that card has been printed and sent to CGI,NYC on January 29th,yet I have not Reyna single update from them.
Out of blue I received an email 2 days back from VFS SERVICES USA INC that your oci card is ready to dispatch and you need to pay $15.53 in order for that.
I paid that invoice and called the VfS global again today and they said we have no update,can someone please help me how do I handle this situation!?
I want to take help of Twitter and twit them about my oci card experience.

My timeline so far
2/1 - Dropped package at Fedex
2/2 - Fedex site showed delivered to VFS Chicago
2/4 - VFS acknowledgement via text and email that they recd my application and to check status after 48-72 hours.
2/11 - Text and Email stating VFS has started working on my application.
2/13 (Yes, on a Saturday!!) - Text and Email stating my application has been forwarded to the embassy for decision making.
2/18 - Received US passport back.
Up until 2/12 I was getting 'Invalid Input' as the response on the VFS tracking site. So I believe until they start working on your application its not in the tracking system.
Also you will have to try using the Govt of India id, USAC **** **45 for tracking.
I hope the rest of the process goes smoothly and I will get my OCI soon.

OCI NY Adult post 50 new passport OCI renewal
1. Mailed OCI docket on Dec 29, 2020 (This consisted of all documents e.g. original OCI, Fedex return label etc, ensured that all document are compliant based on various feedback in this forum)
2. Received VFS NY : Jan 4th 2021
3. Acknowledgement via text on receipt : Jan 9
4. Application in process : Jan 23
5. Transit to Embassy : Jan 26
6. OCI approved send to NY Embassy : Jan 30
7. Ready for dispatch : Feb 15
8. New OCI received : Feb 16.
Overall good experience. I just send one reminder on Feb 12th via email.
