Removal conditions and Citizenship Interview together
Hi everyone,
I got scheduled for an interview of N-400 before my 10 years green card status changed. So i went to interview with my wife and passed both interviews with very nice officer. The officer congregated me and said that they will let me know about the next step. But on the paper he did not recommend me for approval. When i asked if everything is okay, he said that they will complete the background check and needs approval from supervisor.

After 28 days passed, i got notice of transfer about my I-751 case and no change on N-400. When i applied for the I-751, they transferred my case to Potomac from Vermont. So maybe they just requested the case back to my local office?

Is there anybody who had same situation?
Please help or comment, thank you everyone.

N400 Interview and Oath Ceremony Dallas Office
Greetings all! I had my N400 naturalization interview today at 10:45am in Irving Dallas. There were very many people there and the que was long! I joined the que at 10:30 am and got inside the building at 10:57am. Once I was processed I went upstairs and waited for about 10 minutes. My Immigration officer was friendly and very direct. As soon she administered the oath she asked if I was ready and we went into the civics question - I answered 6 correctly and only remember 2 :) The English reading and writing was simple; Read: When do we celebrate Columbus Day? With: We celebrate Columbus Day in October. She told me I had passed and we moved on to the form itself and that went quickly. Once we were done she asked me if I would be willing to return for a same day oath ceremony!! I almost fainted!! I told her I was willing and able and she printed out the oath ceremony form with a 2pm time! ONLY GOD!!!! At 2pm there were 10 of us for the Oath Ceremony and I am now a US citizen! Glory to God 🙂 I encourage you all to stay the course and pray - God is a mountain mover!

N400 - Selective Service Question
Hi All - Need some advise on how to answer this question.
"Are you a male who lived in the United States at any time between your 18th and 26th birthdays?
This does not include living in the United States as a lawful nonimmigrant."

I was on an F-1 Visa (lawful Nonimmigrant) until I turned 29 and then got my GC. Now I am over 31 and filling out N400.
Do I answer YES or NO to this question?

My journey has ended
This form has helped so I will share my timeline with you all for N400.
Field Office- Denver, CO
Submitted- May 2020
Biometric reuse letter- October 2020
Interview Appointment scheduled- December 2020
Attended interview- January 13

The officer was nice.
Was asked 6 questions.
1. When is Independence Day?
2. Who is the current president of America?
3. One of the freedom stated in the 1st constitution?
4. What did MLK do?
5. What did the emu caption proclamation do?
6. Don’t remember

Anyways, I had a name change but decided not to move forward with it so I took the oath with the officer and he gave me my certificate certificate same day. I am officially an American citizen.

Good luck! Things are moving keep positive everyone!

Filed my N400 on April 25 2020.
December 14, USCIS reused my biometric
DECEMBER 21 interview was scheduled for February 01 2021
Then my estimated time of completion jumped to July 2021. Not worried about that though. Then I also received a notification on January 12,2021 that my I751 interview was also scheduled. I don’t know for when. I’m assuming I’ll get a combo interview. I filed my I751 on April 6 2019 and I did biometric November 13,2019.

Anyone are still waiting for interview?
Hi everyone ! I applied for naturalization on August 2019 and had my interview already scheduled for April 2020. Then it got cancelled. It is been almost a year since then, and I still haven't heard back. I am just wondering if this is normal. I know Covid changed everyone's life in a certain way but i am now especially worried as my green card expiring soon.
I live in New Jersey and my processing center is Newark, NJ.

thank you in advance!
