How long does it take to get oath ceremony scheduled?
Here is my timeline... Typing based on memory so I could be off couple of days
Application: N400
Basis: 5 years on GC (actually 4 years, 9 months)
Applied on: 03/24/19
Biometrics: 04/14/19
Interview: 10/28/19
Oath: waiting in queue to get scheduled
Field office: Portland, Oregon
It has been 3 weeks now. Can anyone please let me know how long does it take to get oath letter? Need to visit home during holidays. Dont want to miss the ceremony while I am gone. Please share any experience if you can. Thanks.

Estimated Completion Time vs. Estimated Wait Time???
Does anyone know the difference or can share their experience?
My estimated completion time says December 2019. My estimated wait time as of November 10, 2019 was 1 day, and as of November 11, 2019 states: “We are taking longer then expected to process your case”. It has not changed ever since.
Can anyone share their experience if you have been in a similar situation? Did you get your interview scheduled after the estimated time was 1 day, or how long after the “we are taking longer” message did you get your interview letter? Is completion time the date when interview should happen or when the interview is scheduled?
Any help would really appreciated.

Hello guys. My interview was on Nov 8th. Took about 25 mins and IO said I will receive a letter for Oath date and location via mail. Is there anyone who has attended to interview on November?
I think Oath ceremonies are only in Wednesdays in Houston but I don't know the dates for December.

Waiting oath ceremony letter, Newark, NJ
Hello. Anybody who passed citizenship interview at Newark, NJ, but could not have oath ceremony on the same day? I Passed interview on 10/30 and was advised by the IO that oath ceremony letter will be mailed. But no letter yet, and online status says 'We approved your application. we will mail you a letter... '
Please kindly share if you did the interview at Newark in the afternoon and consequently finished the oath ceremony on a later date. Thank you in advance.

N 400 decesion can not be made
Anyone had interview in September 2019 in Detroit??
I had my interview 09/25/2019 in detroit and file was submitted Chicago
IO told decesion can not Be made, we will mail you latter, but I pass civic test.
I have my i751 approved got my 10 yrs GC March 2019
Until today case status showed
- we schedule your interview

N400 and Not Working
Guys I have a concern. Not sure if anyone has an answer. I filed my N400 in Feb 2018. (It was a paper filing) I filed under the 3 yr rule, married to a US Citizen. I lost my job in March 2018, been look g but found nothing. My wife is working part time, completing post grad studies. As a result our 2018 taxes was pretty minimal, $31,000. Family of 3. We have been making do with savings for the most part. Our three previous years was a greatly average filing of $114,000.00.
Will the most recent yr filing of $31,000.00 affect my application negatively. My lawyer is telling me to withdraw the application. This as it will negatively impact my case. My interview appointment is Dec. 03, 2019. Any opinions? I would love to hear your feedback.
