n400 interview , sent home instead
Hi Guys. so , yesterday was my interview for n400. Previously , i had a pending i-751 , but last time i made an inquiery , the offoicers told me to not come back there cause i was already a permanent resident. So i applied for n400 in june 2019 ( 5 years after being granted conditional permanent residence, even though the removal of the condition was still pending). In the n400 lettter , it did not mention that i should bring my spouse , so when we went through it together , we decided that i should go alone.i guess i shouldn't have . after waiting in the lobby over 30 minutes past my interview time, the IO called me into the interview's room. we exchanged greetings then she asked : ' is your husband here with you today?" and i responded he wasn't since he was at work. She went ahead and said my n400 could be approved before they adjudicate my i751. so i should get a letter in the mail . Then she asked : ' is there a way he can come here today ? and i responded i can call him to see how soon he could leave work to get here . then she said " let's just reschedule it " and that was it . i did not interview for the n400 , and that was pretty frustrating in as much as i didn't receive an appointment letter to appear with my spouse. has anyone experienced this? this was at the boston field office

DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR N-400
Dear forumites,

I am currently preparing to file my N400. I have included documents like children's birth certificates, marriage certificate, tax returns for 3 years, US citizen spouse birth certificate. These documents are to prove that we have been married all these while.

My question is, do I need to include all the other evidence I included during my I-751 (green card application)? I mean evidence such as bank statement, gym membership, insurance, family pictures etc. Is this necessary? The reason I havent' included them is because you normally include all these in your green card application, and so including it only a few months later in the N-400 application looks like a repetition. For those who have gone through this,, or are going through this, did you submit the evidence you submit during the green card application for your n-400 application?

I751/N400 Combo Interview Question
For the combo interview, do they interview you and your spouse together? Or do they only interview you? I've seen different experience here in this fourm. Some say they went with their spouse and IO only ask him to interview alone, and spouse wait in the lobby. Some say they in the interview with spouse together.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Hey guys,

I need your input. I had interview and decision can't be made. Status online was showing "We have scheduled your interview". My status today changed to "We approved your application". We will mail a letter once we schedule your oath ceremony.

Do you know how long this will take? Also I requested name change? What will happen next? Should I go to court myself and change it there or i will be able to change it at the oath ceremony?
