Good experience in San Jose office
I had my interview yesterday. They were having some technical problems with computers so they called me an hour later. IO was very kind, everything was smooth. Started with civics, reading and writing tests. Then she went over all of the application. Somehow some of my answers were not there on the printout, so she asked me those and I answered. She marked is "no determination can be made" but I think it was because she couldn't really enter all the info to computer yet, otherwise she said she didn't see any problem with my application.

Today we got the emails and checked the site and our oath ceremony notification letter is there.

Timeline:

August 25, 2018: N-400 online application based on 5 year
September ?, 2018: Biometrics
April 10, 2019: Interview scheduled notice
May 14, 2019: Interview
May 15, 2019: Notification for Oath Ceremony letter on the site
June 19, 2019: Waiting for the Oath Ceremony

Case denied
Hi everyone I would like to share my experience and to get your experience too ,, I had my interview last week and I got denied because of my trips that was over 6 months ( I have 2 trips over 6 months) and because my residents continue that I don’t have any thing running such as a job or a bank account etc ...
so the officer was super nice and he was explaining everything to me he wasn’t like your case is denied and thats it interview is done he explains everything things would help my case.. he didn’t give me any letter saying that I’m denied he said your case is most probably might be denied and we will send you a letter after 2 months.

Did they usually give a letter saying that your denied or approved right away or they said we will send you a letter.. because when I asked someone he told me as loyas they didn’t give any letter you’re not denied 100% they might review your case again and make another decision.

If someone had the same or someone knows how it’s work please share it as I don’t know what to do ...

Thanks

Employment change after GC
I worked with the GC sponsoring employer for 2.5 years after I recieved my GCs. Then I joined a company in a different role (R&D). Is 2.5 years considered "REASONABLE" prior to a job change and do I have to explain this during Naturalization interviews?

Can somebody with a similar experience share their knowledge or redirect me any forum thread where situation like mine may have been discussed.

The Journey so far Dallas Field Office
My document was sent to the Dallas field office on 30th May 2018.
My Document was registered on June 4th, 2018.
Biometric June 29th, 2018.
Since then no further story, I crossed my arms waiting for the next miracle come lol.
After 11Months I saw a text message on my phone this morning on my way to work that, I was scheduled for an interview. If you applied in the Dallas/Fort Worth area do not expect any miracle earlier than 11month minimum just cross your hands and be waiting for your own manner to fall. lol
I will update you guys as things go on with me.

Need Help!
My 3 year Citizenship based on marriage was denied because we were not living together at that time. At that time she went abroad for job. I tried to convince the IO that we were still together and this was not a legal separation or any sort. She denied my citizenship because we are not living in a marital union anymore. Fast forward today, we got divorced couple of months ago (she decided to continue her life there). Would this be an issue for me applying citizenship based on 5 years?

Still Waiting
Sharing my experience:
02/12/2018 - sent N400 by mail
03/12/2018 - biometrics
02/06/2019- interview schedule update
03/13/2019 - passed on test but decision cannot made yet ( had removal procedures many years ago but was approved by immigration judge)

I am still waiting an updated. The IO told me to not worry i should have a reply between 2 to 3 weeks. It is 2 months already. I have to wait 2 more months to take actions. 2 attorneys before had told me when your case is approved by a judge the immigration give you hard time because a judge came against their decision. Not sure if this is true but they are giving me hard time. Online says my interview has been schedule. I went out of country ( i travel working a lot) and got an X on my paper. went to an officer and he just checked on the computer and let me in. Anybody with similar experience but happy result at the end?? i live here for 19 years and 11 legally
