N400 application
Hello everyone. I am new on this forum and I am planning to apply for naturalisation next week in Des Moines, Iowa. Please could anyone tell me what documents do I need in case I would choose to apply online? Also is there anyone who applied in Des Moines, IA here? I would like to know what is the estimated completion time for Des Moines.

Thank you

I already passed my citizenship interview but received a letter saying I need to go back to complete
Hi,

I have already passed my naturalization interview on April 6th, 2019 and was given a letter or form stating that my n400 application is recommended for approval.

On April 11, 2019 5 days after passing my naturalization interview, I received a letter saying that I need to go back to the local USCIS office and the reason is "to complete the questions on n400 application form". I reviewed my n400 application form and I overlooked the part wherein the question is about what name I have been used since birth, and I forgot to put an answer to it.

My question is, is my n400 application going to be denied because I forgot to answer some questions or my application will continue the process after going back to the office to answer them? Please I need an accurate answer. Thank you and more power!

 Online application for my N-400

Interviewed on: April 17, 2019
Approved and Naturalization the same day: April 17, 2019

My interview was conducted at the Federal Building at Newark, New Jersey.
My appointment was for 7:45am, I arrived at 6:45am. They didnt let us inside the building until 7:00am. My name was called at 7:48am. The immigration officer called me by the window and asked me for my green card, passport and my driver's license. He told me he needs to verify my documents and so he asked me to have a seat in the waiting area. About 8:10am my name was called and then I went in. We went over the correct spelling of my name, d.o.b. and address to make sure it was correct. The entire interview took about 12 minutes. I was asked 6 questions. Then he asked me to signed the important documents, hand me back my passport, and driver's license. He told me the interview has been completed and congratulated me. The IO gave me a paper to fill out when I go back in the waiting room and told me to hand it and greencard to the person at the window when my name is called. My name was called at the window at about 15 mins later. They asked me to review the naturalization paper for any errors, and asked me for my greencard. She told me that the Naturalization ceremony would commence at 9:30am, so I could go to the cafeteria if I want to or I could stay in the waiting area. The ceremony took about 30 mins. After we sworn in we took pictures and that was pretty much my experience. I'm really happy and grateful to be a US Citizen..All Praises To GOD.

Is there any one else from Houston? or anyone from other state holding Jordanian passport? i would like to hear your timeline. I know Jordan and USA have same FBI system and background check is immediate which expedites the procedure.

N400, N14
Submitted N400: January 17, 2018
Biometrics reviewed: January 30, 2018
Interview scheduled: May 11, 2018
RFE: Still waiting for the N14 document which I’m supposed to receive in the mail.

Passed all tests during the interview, but the IO in the Santa Ana, Ca. field office said a decision cannot be made yet. Also, he said he’ll send me an N14 document in the mail within 2 weeks. As of today, no word from USCIS. It has been over 120 days since the interview and I’m not planning on the District Court approach too expensive. Anyone else in the same situation? What happens next?

Newark Office Naturalization Interview
I attended my naturalization interview in Newark, NJ office on April 13. My appointment was at 7 am and my name was called around 9:15 am. I passed the civic and English tests and the officer went over the application with me and asked questions. He told me that everything looked good but he could not make a decision since he hadn't received my complete file from Nebraska Service Center. I was told I would be getting a letter in 30-60 days about their decision when my file is reviewed or they would let me know if I needed to provide more info or documents. He also mentioned that I might be asked to come back for a second interview but he said it was unlikely. I was very disappointed that after waiting for over a year I had to wait even longer. Has anyone had the same experience (with Newark office in particular)? Your insight will be greatly appreciated.
